Floppy
Floppy is a cute rabbit lives in the backyard of my house. He has got white fur with black patches around his little eyes. His favourite food is carrot. Sometimes he eats apples, but lately I found he does not mind to share my breakfast bread slice.
My wife bought him a little two stories hutch with a cozy room in upper floor, supposedly a room for sleep, I guess. Though it looks like a warm and lovely hutch, he uses it only to hide himself out from scary thunder storm. Otherwise, most of the time he spends his time wandering around our veggie patch, searching for somekind of crunchy leaves for snack.
Floppy loves to be pet, but one thing you can't do to him is catching him by chasing him around. He will run up and down, and he does it at a speed of a thunder striking the sky!
Floppy also makes friends to the backyard visitors, such as birds and two fluffy cats live next door. He loves to chase the birds while they are on the grass. It seemed the birds are quite happy with the way Floppy makes friend. I do not know how well he gets along with the cats, but one or two afternoons, I saw them watching to each other, admiring each other features, I guess.
Well, that's all, a short story about Floppy, our pet rabbit. He is now about three years old, and we would love to see him around our life.

Floppy
Floppy senang menjadi hewan peliharaan.
Nah, begitulah kisah singkatku tentang Floppy, kelinci peliharaanku. Sekarang usianya sekitar 3 tahun dan kami sangat senang ia hadir bersama dalam hidup kami.

When residents gathered, we opened the market. Buyers struggled to get some items. There were so many different kinds of goods such as luggage, different kind of hand bags, dolls, brick-a-brack, children clothes, adults’ clothes. Some of them were new and some were second hand but still in good condition. People were enthusiast asking for the selling price, such as for a piece of clothes, the price was Rp. 2000,-
When the market day was ended, all the big kids helped to clean up the study house. All the items were not sold were packed and kept in boxes and bags. We stored them in a cupboard.
After that, we did some knitting. We made mobile phone pockets and brooches in different colors. Some are baby blue, pink, etc. Everyone had to create one.

Karya Yana
Setiap anak wajib membuat satu karya.

The Lying Shepherd
Retold by Haris
Once upon a time, there was a king who had a lot of cattle such as cows, bulls, goats, ducks, chicken and more. He was very bored with his job and announced that whoever wanted to take care of his cattle would be given a very high payment.
This announcement was spread around the country. At last, there was a man who wanted to be the shepherd. This young man came to the kingdom and was accepted by the king. He woke up early and started taking out the king’s cattle to the pasture. On midday, he was so bored with his job that he started to shout “Help.. Help.. There is a wolf over here”.
All of the inhabitants came but they found nothing’s going on. The shepherd just laughed and said sorry to them. So the inhabitants went back to their activities. After a few moments, he yelled again, “Help... Help. There is a lion….” The inhabitants came again but, again, there was nothing happen. Again, He apologized and they began to not put trust on him again.
Being tired to lied, the shepherd was fallen asleep. During his sleep, he heard of lion’s roar. As he opened his eyes, he was shocked to see a group of lions were eating the king’s cattle. Instantly, he shouted to beg for helps.
No one came to respond it. So he ran to the kingdom. He reported breathlessly to the king that all the cattle were eaten by lions.
The king was so angry and yelled, "Why do you come here and do not asking help from my citizens?
“Your Highness, I already told lies to them which make them not to believe me again. There is no single person come to lend hands” said the shepherd.
“Since you are wrong, I must fire you!”
“I don’t want to get fired, your Highness”
“Ok, then I ask you to take care the horse!”
“I don’t want it, your Highness.. Horse is smelly”
“Therefore you have to choose whether to be fired or to herd my horses”
“Alright your Highness, I will look after for your horses.”

Begitu matanya terbuka, ia terkejut melihat sekumpulan singa sedang asyik makan hewan ternak milik raja. Ia segera berteriak-teriak minta tolong.
“Baik, raja! Saya akan menggembala kuda”.

Having a guest
By Indri
Wednesday, 10th February 2010, we had a guest coming over, Ms. Angguni. She arrived around 12 PM at Cakung with Ms. Debby. I met her once. She wanted to see the daily activities of the residents in Cakung area who work as city farmers. She wanted to stay two nights here.
When she arrived, Ms. Debby brought Ms. Angguni to meet all the residents and went to see Intan’s Grandfather’s farm. There were a corn farm, a basil farm and a spinach farm that were just harvested, a velvetleaf farm, and an empty farm that the ground soil has been rested before they’ll throw watercress seeds in the next few days.
Ms. Debby brought Ms. Angguni to Mama Ester’s house to stay over there. She got acquainted with Mama Ester and then Ms. Angguni told her that she wished to stay in Mama Ester’s place until Friday 12th February 2010.
After she met with the residents, Ms. Angguni took a rest for a while. And then she met and played with the children until about 3 PM and then she started helping Intan’s Grandfather and Father to do farming.
On the Thursday 11th February 2010, Ms. Angguni went to help Intan’s Grandfather to pull some weeds in the farm and tending the corn farm. After that, Ms. Angguni went to play with the children again and helped Intan doing her English homework.
Friday 12th of February 2010 was the last day of Ms. Angguni in Cakung. She also went to help the children studying in the study house. It turns out that Ms. Angguni likes to do story telling. When we’re starting the study session, we washed our hands and our foot, and then we made a big circle, then one by one, we introduced our selves to Ms. Angguni.
Most of the children had known Ms. Angguni. After the introduction, Ms.Angguni started her story telling. We’re all sitting across the board, where Ms.Angguni stands. Ms.Angguni started telling story about a shepherd who likes to tell lies, so when he encounters problems, no one believed in him.
The wisdom of the story is, don’t ever tell lies. Because when you lie, then no one believes in you when you tell the truth.
After the story telling, we were studying accompanied by some people who helped there, based on the age category of the children. Ms Angguni was accompanying the small children, the category One. The small children got another story telling from Ms. Angguni, that was really fun.
In the afternoon, after we finished studying, we cleaned the study house. Ms. Angguni went to say goodbye to Intan’s big family and also to Ester’s family. When it was time to say goodbye to Ester, the two of them went for a walk to Tanah Merah. Ester was sad, she’s going to miss Ms. Angguni.
After that, all the people who help with the children and Ms. Angguni said goodbye to the children. And they went home together.

KEDATANGAN TAMU
Karya Indri
Rabu, 10 Februari 2010, kami kedatangan tamu, Kak Angguni. Ia datang ke Cakung sekitar pukul 12.00 bersama Kak Debby. Saya sempat berkenalan dengannya.
Selesai mendongeng, kami belajar didampingi Kakak-kakak pendamping berdasarkan kategori. Kak Angguni mendampingi anak-anak kecil, kategori I. Asyiknya, anak-anak kecil didongengi lagi olehnya.
Sore hari selesai belajar, kami beres-beres rumah belajar.

My House
by Fanny
My house is humble and simple. It is not too big and not too small either. There are some flowers in front of my house. My house is always clean as I always keep it clean, by sweeping and mopping the floor. I do love to live at my house. Whenever I am at home, I always feel comfortable, secure and serene.

KONDISI RUMAHKU
