Guests from Regina Pacis High School

By Mayang, Year 4 Primary School

On Wednesday, 21 April 2010, we had some guests from Regina Pacis High School. We all gathered to welcome them. Then, each of us introduced ourselves as well as our guests, they are just like our big brothers and sisters. After that, we sang ‘Bunda Piara’ song together. After singing, some of us, the superior children, played flute while the juniors were singing new songs taught by our guests. My friends and I learnt to play flute, from high note “do” to low note “do”. After that, we played ‘Ibu Kita Kartini ‘ song by using flute .

After learning to play flute, my mother picked me up to go to school. We were packed with Hoka-hoka Bento for lunch. I did not eat it however, I brought it to school. Besides that, we received gifts of stationeries and groceries. All of us were very happy. Thank you, big brothers and sisters from Regina Pacis High School. I was very happy as my little sister got a doll from them. She earned it as she was brave to come to the front and dance.

Saya sangat senang sekali karena adik saya diberi boneka, karena adik saya berani maju ke depan untuk menari.

My Friends Shoes Were Missing

By Intan, Year 2 Primary School

On Saturday, I celebrated "Maulid" (celebration of Prophet Mohammed's birthday) at school. After Maulid, we found that my friend lost her shoes. My teacher said, if those shoes were not found, we couldn't go home. Then I helped my friend to find those shoes. After searching the whole class, we still couldn't find her shoes then Mrs Mimin, Year 1 teacher, gave my friend her shoes. Afterwards I went home.

A Bunch of Poem

It was late afternoon, a duck went home
Gathered it in grass yet do tell anyone
Seeing mom has arrived
Worried heart has disappeared

By Fanny, year 4 Primary School

It’s so slippery to catch eel
If you caught one, hold it tight.
If you are diligent
You will be promoted to a higher grade

Don’t eat too much cucumber
It has lots of saps.
Don’t sit and daydream
Daydreaming is no good.

Parrots and doves
Fly to the heavenly garden
Hi my good friends, go and seek
It will be lighter eventho it’s filled up.

Kumpulan Pantun Keren

Fanny, Kelas 4 SD

Di bawah Itik pulang petang
Dapat di rumput bilang-bilang
Melihat ibu sudah datang
Hati cemas jadi hilang

Tangkap belut memang licin
Dapat satu jangan dilepas
Jika kamu memang rajin
Tentu akan naik kelas

Jangan suka makan mentimun
Mentimun itu banyak getahnya
Jangan suka duduk melamun
Melamun itu tak ada gunanya

Burung nuri burung dara
Terbang ke sisi taman kayangan
Coba cari wahai saudara
Makin diisi makin ringan

Bunch of Poem

By Silvy, year 4 Primary School

Let us go to market
To buy books and pencils
If we study hard
For sure we will be succeed

Maker flower is blooming
Its smell so fragrant for sure
Seek knowledge eventhough it is hard
Your dream will be achieved

Cassava has a short trunk
The leaves are steamed, root is eaten
Wise person is humble in heart
Reliable for future

Little prawns in a hole
Afraid of its predator
Although your words are thousands
The good deed is a good example

Kumpulan Pantun Keren

Silvi, Kelas 4 SD

Ayo kita pergi ke pasar
Membeli buku dan pensil
Jika kita rajin belajar
Pasti nanti akan berhasil

Bunga maker sedang mekar
Harum baunya sudahlah pasti
Cari ilmu walaupun sukar
Cita-Cita ingin berhasil nanti

Ubi kayu rendah batangnya
Daun direbus isi dimakan
Orang berilmu rendah hatinya
Bisa dipegang jadi harapan

Anak udang didalam lubang
Ketakutan dimakan lawan
Biar kata-katamu segudang
Contoh baik jadi teladan.
