Dear friends,

  

To our Moeslem friends, Happy Ied Mubarak.

Sincere apology for any wrongdoings.  

 

We thank our loyal friends for keeping the children learning community run until today.

 

 

Children were having their lesson review at the end of April, before Moeslem’s holiday.

 

Cakung’s and Ciawi’s children did well on their review.

 

We also thank to facilitators who have been helping us all this time.

 

Facilitators prepared Cakung’s children learning review.

 

In the middle of April, we celebrated a friend’s birthday. She had helped us since the beginning of Cakung Learning Community.

 

Sr. Annunciata, OSU celebrated her 96^th birthday at Jl. Juanda Ursulin Monastery, Jakarta. The celebration was attended by her relatives, the Ursulin Sisters Jakarta and Bandung. The celebration began with mass in the Ursulin Chapel, Juanda and ended with dinner.

 

 

We valued Sr. Annuciata and the Ursulin sisters for their friendship and supports. We prayed for Sr. Annuciata’s wellbeing throughout her golden years.

 

In April, we also received donations of clothing and books from Sr. Agustina, BKK and used printers from Sr. Lucia, OSU.

 

We also grateful to receive donation from Group 7, CanIHelp, Grade 8 -2 Kolese Kanisius. Donation money was coming from the rest of the tickets’ sales of last March Seminar.  

 

 

We are thankful for all your attention and support throughout the years. May the Lord bless the sisters and donors. We hope to continue this community program with you.

 

 

 

Attached are pictures of Cakung’s and Ciawi’s children activity.

 

 

In addition, we also include some pictures of healthy meal for the children that were prepared by the community and facilitators in April 2022.

 

The purpose of this activity was not only to teach the children about nutritious meal but also to teach the parents about preparing simple, healthy and affordable nutritious meal for their children at home.  

 

After learning, the children sat and waited for their food to be passed. Children learned to be calmed, patient and courtesies to others. 

 

We are grateful for your attention and support. We hope to continue our effort with you. Children were grateful to be able to continue fulfilling their education through our scholarship program.

 

They thank all dedicated donors. Together, we fulfil our duty and responsibility to children’s education. 

 

With your support, children will be able to carry on their education to the future. 

 

To fulfill the need of the children and communities, we kindly ask our loyal friends to keep remember us.

 

Your generous kindness and supports have helped us. They boosted our morale and spirit to serve.

Accepting membership fee and office work at “Kartini” cooperative effort in the community of Cakung and Ciawi.

 

We are grateful to all our friends for their prayers, finances, efforts and material support throughout this month.

You have given these children the opportunity to be smart and prosper in their own community. Together, we have taken part in the nation’s effort for social justice. For that, we ask for your routine contribution this year.

 

We thank our donors for their financial dedication. They really help to further the operation of Children Learning Community.

 

Once again, thank you for all your help. Even the smallest help has great impact in this future generation’s live.
