The Children Learning Community is very grateful for your supports and prayers. All activities in Cakung and Sarang Tupai ran smoothly throughout the month of September 2016.
As usual, the Sarang Tupai children played before learning. And before meal, Cakung’s children enjoyed watched the children classic tales video.
From Mr. Hendra, the Sarang Tupai’s children learned to weave palm leaves and making them into diamond shape container for steam rice dish. Mr. Hendra is one of the parents of Sarang Tupai’s scholarship’s recipient.
Children need to practice a lot on this skill. Instead of real palm leaves, they used different color of ribbons to practice.
Mothers continue to do their craft out of recycle coffee bags. They made coasters, bowl cloths and water bottle wraps.
We thank facilitators, volunteers and surrounding community who relentlessly gave their time, efforts, finances and place for this learning program. We thank Jaka, Ester, Ondo, big brother Bosco, big brother Frances and Ziya in Cakung. We thank big sister Ivonne, Neldi, Cantik, Mrs. Vera, Mr. Hendra - Mrs. Lanny in Sarang Tupai.
This month, all the scholarship’s recipients received support for their monthly school fee. There was a vocational high school student in Cakung, East Jakarta, who received fund for stationaries, writing notes, and transportation allowance, beside monthly school fee. Since August, this student received transportation allowance for his internship’s office trip in distance south Jakarta.
There is also a vocational high school student in Sarang Tupai who will be doing her internship in October 2016. The requirement for her internship is to pay all his school expenses and semester exam fees up to December 2016.
We are grateful to our friends who continuously provide their financial support for this scholarship program. This scholarship’s support is extremely valuable for the children’s future.
There were several healthy diets that we prepared for both Cakung’s and Sarang Tupai’s children. Beside consuming milk regularly, children also enjoyed chicken noodle soup with fried dumpling; cookies, cold green beans drink and watermelon.
Children had a chance to have lunch together. The mothers prepared the menu for us. In Sarang Tupai, Children had lunch on Monday, 19 September 2016. In Cakung, chidren had their lunch on Saturday, 24 September 2016.
The children were enjoying their special meal and thanked for a donor for
providing monetary support.
We thank all facilitators and also the community of Cakung and Sarang Tupai who help preparing healthy meal throughout September 2016.

1. Learning Activity:
a. Learning and mentoring activity in both Cakung’s and Sarang Tupai’s facility.
2. Child Nutrition Improvement
a. Preparing nutritious menu and purchase needed cooking utensils.
3. Scholarship
a. Fulfilling school needs for recipients.
At the end, we thank many of our friends for their support in prayers, finances, efforts and materials. This month learning activity ran well because of your support.
We are deeply touched by many of our donors’ generosity. They prioritized others than themselves. We truly appreciate your trust in our efforts.
The facility house rent will be due in the beginning of November 2016. We have been collecting fund since August. And up to September, we have achieved 2.988.135 IDR. We thank many of our friends and the alumni of St.Ursula High School Jakarta who collect fund during their mass activity.
We express many thanks for your help and support. May The Lord provide you with financial blessings and good health.
The three years rent in the amount of 33.000.000 IDR has already been approved by the land lord. We are still looking for your valuable supports.
