On Saturday, May 9, 2009, Miss Debby, Uwie, Chichi, Indri, Jemima and I held a bazaar in Cakung Sawah learning house. Few days before the bazaar, I have informed the people around the learning house that we will have a bazaar atau cheap market.
After learning, my friends and I separated the goods that will be sold. After that, teh team thinking together about the price for the bazaar. The team were Ms. Uwie, Indri and Jemima.
When the time came, the people were coming. The bazaar was started at 3 pm. The mothers started pushing each other to get the clothes which they want to buy. There were mothers which were querelling to get the same clothes.
The people were very noisy in bargaining the price. There was one child from Cakung field area, Desmon, who in charge of taking pictures for the documentation of this activity. Because there were still too many unsold clothes, finally all the rest were given free.
After taking all the clothes, we have fun and happily taking pictures together. My mom acted like a joker with her secondhand clothes at bazaar. After that we cleaned the learning house. We swept the floor, folding the carpet, collecting the trash, etc. The learning house has been clean, so Indri and I accompanied Ms. Debby, Ms. Chichi and Ms. Uwie going home.
