BRUSHING TEETH TOGETHER

On Sunday, June 21, 2009, we have guests from sanggar Ciliwung. They are 6 people. Some of them are Aunty Ika, OSF & the dentist Hendro who teach us how to brush our teeth correctly. They come at 10.30 AM & bring some medicine, gifts, & toothbrushes for us.

We start the event, sitting in circle & singing together to greet Aunty Ika, OSF, Dentist Hendro, & friends. After singing, the dentist give presentation about the healthy & cleaness teeth, how to take care our teeth. After presentation, we are going inside Ester house to eat the healthy menu. The participants are not just children in field area, but in garbage dump area, too. The healthy menu for today is eating boiled egg & drink milk. After eat the healthy menus, we have brush teeth activity, instructed by the dentist. He suggest us how to brush our teeth correctly so we have strong & healthy teeth. We learn in front of Yana’s grandparents house.

After brushing teeth, we gather together at learning house & rest for a while. After take a rest together, before the guests back home, we give them a paper quilling souvenir as our appreciation. Ms.I’ah give it to dentist Hendro. We give applause while dentist Hendro take the souvenir.

The weather is getting hot. The dentist & friends went home. Before that, we take pictures together as our memory. After taking pictures, we accompany them to the parking area. With happiness, we say goodbye to the dentist & friends.
