Learning Evaluation

By Mala

On Sunday, 29 November 2009, the big and young kids were doing a learning evaluation in a form of contests. The young kids joined Math, Indonesian Language and English contests.

All the participants were divided into 5 groups. Group I has Adit, Nur and Zidan. Group II comprises of Jingga, Desi, Andrew, and Satria. Group III has Neng, Intan, Cynthia, Tia, Riri, Pedro, Kevin and Fani. While Group V consists of Yana, Mala, Jessica, Indri, Yemima and Yohanes.

Firstly, they conducted Indonesian Language contest then English and Math contests. The judge and supervisor for Group IV and V was Kak Debby. The Learning Evaluation started at 12.00 until 13.55 for Indonesian Language class where everyone created a personal story. After that, everyone created a story in English. Group I, II and III were assisted by Kak Vera, Kak Uju, Kak Lisa, Kak Mona and Kak Uwie.

After everyone gone through the theoretical knowledge contests, we continued with practical skill contests, especially for the big kids. They had to make a wooden table. There were 2 groups. Group I consists of Indri, Yana, Susi, Yulia, Jessica, and Ondo. While Group II comprises of Yemima, Mala, Yohanes, Kartini, Ester, and Zaka. The judge for table making was Kak Debby.

The first group made the table at Zidan’s house while the second group made the table at Ester’s house. During the table making, there was an unpleasant incident, Yana’s head was hurt by a nail. Some people were not happy as Ester’s father helped Group I to make the table. After the contest was finalised, we all took rest.

My friends and I then took a break. Some of us went home and some of us bought some nibbles. After that, we gathered at Cakung home-base to learn about the winner of the contests and for the prizes presentation.

The winner from Group I was Adit and from Group II was Jingga. While the winner of Group III was Cynthia, Group IV was Ester and Group V was Jessica. After presenting the prizes, we all tidied up Cakung home-base.

The big kids and I like to tidy up the house in order to keep it clean and comfortable for studying. We will be more motivated in studying if the house is tidy and clean. Some of us cleaned the carpet and put the new tables we made. My friend and I sent Kak Debby and her friends home. After that, we went home.
