A Fasting Break

On Saturday, August 14, 2010, we are the Cakung Sawah Children and our teachers had a fasting break together. Around 7.30 p.m., our friend Nur Cahyo Adityo complained that he was thirsty and felt could not wait until Magrib (time to break our fast). Finally at 5.57 p.m. all of us could break our fast. Before break, we did a prayer. Then we drank a cup of young coconut ice.

After fasting break, all of teenagers continued 'paper quilling' activity. They are Yana, Karetini, Ester, Susi, Nurmala, Anah and Indri. After finished paper quilling, we said good bye to Sister Debby on the road side. There was no public transport passed by at that time, so we waited so long time. Finally at 6.35 p.m. one of public transport came and Sister Debby took that car.

After that, we prepared for sholat (a prayer) at mosque. But Yana, Kartini, Susi, Anah, Anton, Ari and Dirno wanted to buy a bowl of meat balls.

When all of us, did sholat tarawih (a prayer after fasting break), somebody fired a firecracker that disturbed our prayer. Then Dirno was farting, so we were laughing and we could not continue our prayer.

Then we decided to play hide and seek. When we played, some parents would go home from the mosque. So our friend, Anah wanted to follow her parents, because she was sleepy and want to go to sleep soon. So all the boys were left by her.
