Going to Tangerang

On Monday 9 August 2010, Kak Debby, Kak Uzhu, Indri, Yana, Kartini, Susi, Ester and I went to Tangerang. We all went to Tangerang to learn to sew by using plastic bags and to make wallets from coffee bag.

Before we went, we prepared for the equipments which were nails, coffee bag, plastic bags, and scissors. We had meal first before we went and after that we all went by taking the T21 car and we got off at Cakung and took a taxi.

After a quite long journey, we finally arrived in front of Jalan Alam Sutra, Gardenia. We waited for Kak Eka and after she came, we all went to her house to stay overnight there.

After we arrived at Kak Eka’s house, we took rest for a while, and Kak Debby and Kak Uzhu prepared food dor us. We took shower first before we had dinner. After that, we watched TV while having dinner.

At night, we took a look at a DVD called the Smart Dog and after the movie was finished, we fell asleep.

The next day, we woke up and took shower and made the bed. Yana, Indri, and I washed the coffee bag and aired it, after they were all clean and dry, we wiped them all. Then Kak Debby and Kak Uzhu called us all to have breakfast. After that we clean up our stuff and said goodbye to Kak Eka and we also thanked her. We then went to Sister Ignatio to learn creativity skills, Kak Eka’s husband drove us there.

After we arrived, we walked to Sister Ignatio’s house. Then she gave us some drink and cookies. After that, we were ready to learn, we then cut the plastic bags and sew them all. After that we made wallets from coffee bag, and we had rest and eat. After that we cleaned up and we went home and took the donation home that was given by Kak Debby’s friend. We didn’t forget to thank Sister Ignatio. We went home with taxi.

After we arrived, we went to our own home. We were very happy because we got a very pleasant experience.
