Grateful for all your help and support, Progress Report of Children Learning Community in July 2021

  

Dear friends,

 

We were grateful to our loyal friends who supported the children learning community’s activity throughout July 2021. We were also grateful for God’s blessing to us until now.

 

Throughout most of July, all activities were halted. Not until end of July, we started teaching the children in Ciawi and Rorotan. The parents in this communities asked for learning activity. 

 

On line class with big sister Jessica still run. We thank for her support and help.  

 

We hope to preserve our collective effort in assisting the children.

 

Most of our Cakung’s and Ciawi’s facilitators went through covid vaccination. Some scholarship recipients also received their dose of vaccine.

 

We are grateful for effort to protect the children from world wide spread of Corona pandemic.

 

Throughout July, the activity at Cakung’s and Ciawi’s learning center were focused on cooperative food effort, scholarship distribution and administration, and library activity. 

 

At the end of July 2021, we received an invitation of a wedding from our former student. We were happy and wish this newly formed family well in their life journey together.

 

Children thank loyal donors for providing them with scholarship assistance.

 

With your support, children can stay in school and have a better future.

 

To fulfill the expenses, we kindly ask our loyal friends to keep remember the children and community.

 

We appreciate all donors’ generosity, kindness and supports. They boosted our morale and spirit to serve.

 

 

August 2021 Plan:

 

1. Learning Activity in Cakung, Rorotan, and Ciawi.

 

2. Library Activity

 

- Once a week a few facilitators came to Cakung’s center to sort out book donations for library and distribute some books for the communities who need of books. Some facilitators also did some office work.

 

3. Scholarship

-      Purchasing some school’s needs for scholarship recipients and administration work.

 

4.   Basic Food Cooperative Effort

Cakung’s and Ciawi’s cooperative open for business as usual. Cooperative officers will keep track of sales, inventory and purchase out of stock items.

 

We are grateful to our friends for all their prayers, finances, efforts and materials’ support throughout this month.

You have given these children the opportunity to be smart and prosper in their own community. Together, we have taken part in the nation’s effort for social justice. 

 

We thank for your routine donation. Even the smallest help from you, it provides great educational impact to future generation.

 

The Children Learning Community is trying to purchase a permanent learning centre in Cakung. 

 

The owner of current learning centre would like to sell his home to us. It was a privilege that he let us to rent his home for a long time. Now it is the time for us to have our own facility. During pandemic, we mostly utilize the house for office, cooperative effort’s warehouse and facilitators’ meeting place.

 

We really ask for our dear friends helps, references, inputs and financial helps.

 

We thank our dear friends for your kind contribution. In the beginning of August, we have collected 35.723.377 IDR.

 

We thank our dear friends and donors for their faith and trust in us.
