Happy Lunar New Year for those who celebrate them.
Dear friends,
Welcome to the best thing in 2021.
We were grateful to God and to our loyal friends who supported the children learning community’s activity throughout February 2021.
We thank facilitators who assist the children in all activities.
We also thank all parents for their trust. During pandemic, all activities were run with great cautious.
The activity ran well. More children were actively learning with us. In the midst of learning challenges caused by pandemic, we were glad to see the children’s enthusiasm and creativity.
Pandemic forced us to adopt, especially learning spot for children. We had to provide suitable and safe learning place.
We still open for donation of tarp cover, white board and clipboard.
On Wednesday, the 10th of February 2021, the children remembered the late Mr. Robert Tontey in 40 days after the passing collective prayer program. Children in all three our base communities participated through zoom applications.
Children and facilitators recited prayer in Catholic and Islam. Cakung’s and Ciawi’s children also sang songs.
The children and facilitators prayed for eternal peace in the house of merciful Father.
We are grateful that day. Facilitators, current children and the children who were no longer with Children Community participated. We also had Mrs. Esti, the wife of late Mr. Robert Tontey attending the program.
During February 2021, big sister Jessica taught English to category 2 until category 4 children. They met through google meet applications.
Children were excited learning with this new facilitator.
Children learned English in Cakung every Wednesday and also on Saturday in the second and fourth week of the month.
Attached are pictures of Cakung, Rorotan and Ciawi activities and also pictures of event in remembrance of late Mr. Robert Tontey.
Children were grateful to donors who provided them with scholarship assistance.
School expenses were done by bank transfer. Due to the need of internet, the usual transportation and snack allowance were directed to internet fee for various virtual school activities.
Children thank loyal donors for providing them with assistance.
With your support, children can stay in school and have a better future.

Cakung’s and Ciawi’s cooperative open for business as usual. Cooperative officers keep track of sales, inventory and purchase out of stock items.
We are grateful to our friends for their prayers, finances, efforts and materials’ support throughout this month.
You have boosted our spirit in bringing up the underprivileged community. You have given these children the opportunity to be smart, independent and prosper in their own community. Together, we have taken part in the nation’s effort for social justice. Financial contributions and supports are needed to achieve this year’s budget.
Despite pandemic’s hardship, many of loyal donors are willing to dedicate their resources to the children.
The children are grateful for routine donations from dedicated donors. They are valuable for day to day operation.
Even the smallest help will be beneficial for the education of this coming generation.
The children and community thank all donors.
We thank big sister Rania and Melody from One World organization for donation of toys, story books, clothing, snack, milk and candy.
We also thank Sr. Agustina, BKK for donation of clothing, text books and milk. Big thank to Sr. Maria BKK and LDD for donation of milk.

We thank our dear dedicated donors for their faith and trust in us.
During Lunar New Year holiday, we collected 85.000 IDR in profit from sales of Chinese New Year gift pack. Ciawi’s community produced powder red ginger and cookies. We also collected a profit of 60.000 IDR from discounted bazaar and unusable items.
Profit will be used to support Children Learning Community program.
Finally we pray for the Lord to grant you with healthy body and financial blessings. Thank you for your continuous contribution to the program.
We are called to bring peace and welfare to the world.
