Keep Up the Learning Spirit, Children Learning Community October 2021 Report

 

Dear friends,

 

 

We were grateful to our loyal friends who supported the children learning community’s activity thorough out October 2021. We were also grateful for God’s blessing to us thus far.

 

We were tremendously grateful that all of community’s children and their family were healthy, far away from pandemic, that covers every part of the world.

 

 

With most of adult and teenagers are vaccinated, we hope for the end of pandemic in the community.

 

In Ciawi, normal face to face learning run twice a week, Thursday and Saturday.

 

Thursday is for regular lesson and Saturday is for toddler and bigger children English lesson.

 

Meanwhile, Cakung’s children learn in several learning points. In Rorotan, children learn at big sister Tia’s home.

 

Cakung’s facilitators are now using the learning house for their learning preparation meeting. The house is also used for cooperative activity, library and the place to do the scholarship’s administration work.

We are grateful to all my friends for their support and prayer. We are so grateful that the Cakung’s learning home owner is willing to extend the learning home rental agreement until 2023. 

 

The fund was collected initially to purchase a learning home, at the end, was allocated for two years rent of Cakung’s learning home.

 

The rest of the fund was used for building bamboo hut for Ciawi’s children. They need them badly.

 

As the number of children grow and the coming of monsoon, the hut will be a safe learning place for the children.    

 

 

We are grateful for your attention and support. We hope to continue our effort with you. Children were grateful to be able to continue fulfilling their education through our scholarship program.

 

With your support, children can stay in school and have a better future.

 

 

To fulfill the need of the children and communities, we kindly ask our loyal friends to keep remember us.

 

 

Your generosity and kindness have helped us. They boosted our morale and spirit to serve.

 

November 2021 Plan:

 

1. Learning Activity Cakung, Rorotan, and Ciawi.

 

-      Children Learning Community will be reviewing the performance of all Cakung’s, Rorotan’s and Ciawi’s children.

  

2. Library Activity

 - Once a week a few facilitators came to Cakung’s house to sort out books from donors and send out demand books to Ciawi’s children.

 

3. Scholarship

-      Obtain some school’s needs for scholarship recipients and do some office work on scholarship.

 

4.   Basic Food Cooperative Effort

Cakung’s and Ciawi’s cooperative open for business as usual. Cooperative officers will keep track of sales, inventory and purchase out of stock items.

 

 

We are grateful to our friends for all their prayers, finances, efforts and materials’ support throughout this month.

You have given these children the opportunity to be smart and prosper in their own community. Together, we have taken part in the nation’s effort for social justice. 

We thank for your routine donation. Even the smallest help from you, it provides great educational impact to future generation.

 

We thank LDD who donate pack of spices, diapers, milk powder, and surgical masks through Sr. Maria BKK.

 

Children and the community are grateful for the attention and helps. We hope for continious relationship.

We thank our dear friends and donors for their faith and trust in us.

 

Finally we pray for the Lord to grant you with healthy body and financial blessings. Thank you for your continuous contribution to the program.
