For all the christians, we wish you a solemn three days of the Easter Triduum

 

Dear friends,

 

We were grateful to God and to our loyal friends who supported the children learning community’s activity throughout March 2021.

 

We thank facilitators who assist the children in all activities.

 

We also thank all parents for their trust. During pandemic, all activities were run with great cautious.

 

The activity ran well. More children were actively learning with us. In the midst of learning challenges caused by pandemic, we were glad to see the children’s enthusiasm and creativity.  

 

Pandemic forced us to adopt, especially learning spot for children. We had to provide suitable and safe learning place. At this moment, we possess a few movable white boards for Cakung’s, Rorotan’s and Ciawi’s children. They still need various mobile learning tools.

 

We still open for donation of whiteboard, clip board and tarp cover.

 

We thank Dr. Dessy for donation of stationeries, writing tablets, origami papers, drawing books, and text books.

 

Children creatively practiced folding the origami papers and turned them into shapes. We took the donation from her office in March 2021.

 

Children received prizes for their origami folding creativity. Some children received better prizes for being cleverly creative.

 

 

In March 2021, we attended a wedding of  a former Ciawi’s facilitator who once was a scholarship recipient.

 

Since graduate, she had been working and decided to get married.

 

We were happy to see Novi and her husband.  We prayed for their everlasting marriage.

 

Two Ciawi’s children were grateful to loyal friends and donors who provided them with school’s assistance.

With your support, children can stay in school and have a better future.

To fulfill the need of the children and communities, we kindly ask our loyal friends to keep remember us.

 

Your generous kindness and supports have helped us. They boosted our morale and spirit to serve.

 

April 2021 Plan:

 

1. Learning Activity in Cakung, Rorotan, and Ciawi.

Learning will be conducted every Wednesday in Cakung, Thursday in  Ciawi, and Saturday in Rorotan, Malaka

 

2. Library

Sort out and register donation of books. Some will be stored in library case and some will be distributed to the children and surround communities.

 

3. Scholarship
4. Staple Food Cooperative Effort

Cakung’s and Ciawi’s cooperative will be open for business as usual. Cooperative officers will keep track of sales, inventory and purchase out of stock items.

 

Despite pandemic’s hardship, many of loyal donors are wholeheartedly willing to dedicate their resources to the children.

We are grateful to our friends for all their prayers, finances, efforts and materials’ support throughout this month.

 

Together, we have taken part in the nation’s effort for social justice.   Financial contributions and supports are needed to achieve this year’s budget.

Even the smallest help will be beneficial for the education of this coming generation.

 

The community and cooperative member thank Sr. Agustina, BKK for bar soap donations. Children also thank the anonymous donors for donation of children books

 

Until now, we still try to find a way to have a permanent place for office and activity. We dream to have a place with garden for commercial gardening. We want the community to be self-sufficient.

 

We really need inputs, ways and supports from all of you to make it happen.  

 

We thank our dear friends and donors for their faith and trust in us.

 

Finally we pray for the Lord to grant you with healthy body and financial blessings. Thank you for your continuous contribution to the program.

 

We are called to bring peace and welfare to the world.
