Celebrating the Nation Education Day 2 May 2023. Children Learning Community April 2023 Report.

 

Dear friends,

 

 

We thank our loyal friends for keeping the children learning community run until today. Thank you for all your prayers and kind attention to the children.

 

In the beginning of May 2023, the children of Cakung and Ciawi gather and observe the Nation Education Day. We were deeply appreciate the opportunity to learn and continuous support system. We hope to contribute our effort in producing generation of highly moral and intelligent individuals.

 

Beside learning routine, the children enjoyed several activities in April. 

 

In the beginning of April 2023, Ciawi’s community and our dear friends of Sanggar Akar Children Learning gathered to mourn the passing of late Mrs. Ivonne.

 

We were glad to see many of our colleague who once in the same alternative learning group in Jakarta.

 

 

Farewell Mrs. Ivonne. Till we meet again.

 

In the beginning April 2023, the children also received reading books from Mrs Marlene and her kid. With reading books available, we hope to motivate the children to read. Children enjoyed reading book, especially the one with pictures.  

 

We thank Mrs. Marlene and family.  We appreciate the tie we have and hope for continuous relation.

 

At the end of April 2023, we gathered to commemorate a dear donor who passed several years ago. The family of late donor asked us to gathered the children at Cakung as well as at Ciawi. Cakung’s and Ciawi’s children prayed in remembrance of their kind donor.  

 

Below are pictures of Cakung’s and Ciawi’s children activities, including pictures of the children enjoying nutritious meal.

 

 

We are grateful for relentless dedication of Children Learning Community’s facilitators.  

 

Since Cakung’s facility home rent will be due in November 2023, we are in need to fulfil it. 

  

Your financial help enable us to continue serving the children and their activities.

 

Attached are our Mei 2023 expenditure needs and Children Learning Community’s 2023 budget proposal. We ask for you kind help to fulfil those financial needs.

 

 

As up this moment, we still have to fulfil the children’s continuous school needs in scholarship program.

We are thankful for all dedicated donors who have been helping the children. With your scholarship assistance, children will have a chance stay in school. 

 

Relentlessly, we keep ask for your participation and unceasing monthly contribution.

 

Your generous kindness and supports have helped us. They boosted our morale and spirit to serve.

 

After thorough review of Ciawi’s community strength, the children, parents and facilitators, thus we decided  to let Ciawi’s Children Learning Community to be run by their own community. Starting of the beginning of May 2023, Ciawi will not be supported by Cakung’s facilitators, but they could ask for help when needed.

 

May 2023 Plan :

 

1. Cakung’s Learning Activity.
1. Cakung’s learning activity will be run on Monday and Thursday.
2. Quarter I review in the middle of May.

 

2. Scholarship
1. Monthly school fee and needs will be paid to several scholarships’ recipients. 

3. Staple Food Cooperative Effort

Regular meeting and providing Cakung’s community with their basic food needs.

 

4. Office and administration 

With heavy burden, we declared that up to this moment, we only rely on whatever you have given to us monthly. To fulfil the children’s need and to cover budget shortages, we took some additional loan.

 

From donation money that we collected, we paid monthly instalment and at the end of April, we left our debt balance of 24,000,000 IDR.

Looking at this condition, I believe that you realize our desperate need for finance help. Please keep us in your prayer.

 

We thank our loyal friends for keeping the children learning community run this month. We are grateful for your thought, physical present, fund contributions and material support.

 

We are truly grateful to all donors who commit to share this social responsibility. You have given opportunity for these children to be smart and prosper in their own community and country. Together, we have taken part in the nation’s effort for social justice. For that, we kindly ask to keep remember the children and their community on your routine donation throughout the year.

 

We thank our donors for their financial dedication which is valuable for maintaining the operation of Children Learning Community.

 

Even the smallest help has great impact to this future generation.
