Farewell friend. Children Learning Community March 2023 Report

Dear friends,

 

We thank our loyal friends for keeping the children learning community run until today. Thank you for all your prayers and kind attention to the children.

 

At the end of March 2023, we were deeply sadden by the passing of our dear friend Ms. Ivonne who just turned 57 sixteen days ago . She was one of our team at the leaning center in Ciawi. 

 

She has ended battling her illness. We all mourned and sad loosing our dearest friend.

Rest in peace Ms. Ivonne. We prayed for the family’s strength of in time of sorrow..

 

In the middle of March we also received donation of household items from Mrs. Arleta.

We thank our friends for their attention and continuous support of Children Learning Community’s activities.

 

May the Lord bless you with good health and flow of blessing. We pray for continous tie in assisting the children.

 

In November, this year, we need to extend the rent of our Cakung’s learning facility. 

Your financial help enable us to continue serving the children and their activities.

Attached is Children Learning Community’s 2023 budget which include facility’s rent.

 

We are grateful to facilitators who play a big part of wellbeing of the children through various activities.

 

  

Below are pictures of Cakung’s and Ciawi’s children activities, including pictures of the children enjoying nutritious meal. Meals were prepared by facilitators and parents.

 

 

We are thankful for all dedicated donors who have been helping the children. With your scholarship assistance, children will have a chance stay in school. 

We know that your financial assistance will further the children’s education and brighter future.

The fact is we still need to fulfill the financial shortages for scholarship program this year, therefore we ask for your kind support.

 

Relentlessly, we keep ask for your participation and unceasing monthly contribution.

 

Your generous kindness and supports have helped us. They boosted our morale and spirit to serve.

April 2023 Plan :

 

1. Cakung’s and Ciawi’s Learning Activity.
1. Cakung’s and Ciiawi’s learning activity will be held on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
2. All activities were off for Easter and Ied Fitr Holiday.

 

2. Scholarship

a.       Monthly school fee and other student needs will be paid to several scholarships’ recipients. 

 

3. Staple Food Cooperative Effort

Regular meeting and providing Cakung’s and Ciawi’s community with their food needs.  

 

4. Office and administration 

With heavy burden, we declared that up to this moment, we only rely on whatever you have given to us monthly. To fulfil the children’s need and to cover budget shortages, we took some additional loan. From donation money that we collected, we paid monthly instalment.  At the end of March, our debt balance was IDR 24,500,000.

Looking at our situation, I believe that you realize our desperate need for help.   

 

We thank our loyal friends for keeping the children learning community run this month. We are grateful for your thoughtful prayer, physical present, financial and material support.

 

We are truly grateful to all donors who commit to share this social responsibility. You have given opportunity for these children to be smart and prosper in their own community and country. Together, we have taken part in the nation’s effort for social justice. For that, we kindly ask to all donors to keep remember the children and their community in your routine contribution throughout the year.

  

We thank our donors for their financial dedication which is valuable for maintaining the operation of Children Learning Community.

Even the smallest help has great impact to this future generation.
