Healthy Food In My Plate. Children Learning Community February 2023 Report

 

Dear friends,

We thank our loyal friends for keeping the children learning community run until today. Thank you for all your prayers and kind attention to the children.

 

With this report, we include proposal of financial assistance for 2023 Children Learning Community Budget.

Cakung’s learning home will also need to extend their home rent this year. Rent will be due in November.

We hope that our loyal friends continue their commitment to support this children’s activity.

We are grateful to facilitators who play a big part of wellbeing of the children through various activities.      

Big sister Linda with her team and Patricia came to enlighten the children about their meal with “healthy food in your plate” as the theme. 

Cakung’s children learned about healthy food. After learning session, the children were tested in short quizzes. They were excited to answer questions from big sister Patricia.

After the activity, the children set their dining place. Big sister Patricia, Linda and her team passed the healthy meal to the children. The healthy meal were prepared by some Cakung’s mothers.

 

We thank big sister Patricia, Linda and her team for their generosity of funding this event and also talked to the children  about the benefit of healthy food.  

We hope for continues relationship.

Entering the new upcoming semester, the scholarship fund is still not sufficient enough to fulfil children’s education needs. Therefore, we ask for you kind financial support in this scholarship program. 

We are thankful for all dedicated donors who have been helping the children. With your scholarship assistance, children will have a chance stay in school. 

We hope your financial help will bring the children further to a brighter future.

March 2023 plan :

1.   1. Cakung’s and Ciawi’s learning activity

Cakung’s and Ciaiwi’s learning activity will be held on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday

2.  2.  Scholarship

Monthly school fee and other school related needs will be paid to several recipients’ schools.

3.   3. Staple Food Cooperative Effort

Regular meeting and facilitate Cakung’s and Ciaiwi’s community with their food needs. 

4.   4. Office and Administration

Making payment for operational loan. At the end of February, the balance of loan in is  IDR 10,000,000.

With the heavy burden to carry, we have to be frank that up to this moment, we really rely on whatever you have given to us monthly. To fulfil the children’s need and to cover this shortages, we take up additional loan. At this moment, we reached IDR 25,000,000 in our loan.

We sincerely apologized with this emergency  approach. We hope that you keep helping us financially and keep praying for our effort to assist these children.

We thank our loyal friends for keeping the children learning community run this month. We are grateful for your thoughtful prayer, physical present, financial and material support.

 

We are truly grateful to all donors who commit to share this social responsibility. You have given opportunity for these children to be smart and prosper in their own community and country. Together, we have taken part in the nation’s effort for social justice. For that, we kindly ask to all donors to keep remember the children and their community in your routine contribution throughout the year.

We thank our donors for their financial dedication which is valuable for maintaining the operation of Children Learning Community.
