One day I went to school with my friend Nanda. She looked upset and was very quiet. "Nan, why do you look so upset?" I asked with puzzling tone. Nanda answered, "I don't bring money for Friday's donation!"
"Everything alright?" I asked.
"My mother and father don't have money. Today, they don't give me any pocket money."
"Oh, that's why! My father always teaches us to be ready to help others. Even though I only have very little pocket money from my parents, I will give you some."
"Thank you for your kindness, Nis."
When we were in the class before the lesson started, the teacher asked the students to pass their donation to the front. One by one, the students came to the front to pass the donation to the teacher. I invited Nanda to come to the front together to give the donation.
"Thank you, Nis...!"
"You're welcome. You're my best friend who needs help. Of course, I will help you, Nanda."
