At the moment Cakung is deserted. Some residents have moved house due to upcoming paddy field eviction. Some others stay behind since they have no ideas where they should go to.
How arrogance was shown by the investors who bought paddy field in Cakung cheap price. The farmers have no idea how to grow their paddy rice if there is no more land to plant rice anymore. Let alone land lease is expensive.
My neighbour across the road and the one next door has moved out, their house has been demolished. One of them though still do not have a new house to rent in. We wish we could stay a little while longer in this house. We would sure be very happy.
