School Holiday Experience

On Monday, 18th April 2011, I was on school holiday. I studied at home. I studied natural sciences, math, social sciences and Indonesian language.

After studying, I played mancala with Elma, Alya, Piya and Rika. I played against Emma in the first game. Elma lost the game after a while. In the second game it was Alya against Piya. In the afternoon, I went home for a shower.

After shower, I played again with friends until evening.

Pengalaman Libur Sekolah

Pada Senin, 18 April 2011, saya libur sekolah. Saya belajar di rumah. Saya belajar IPA, matematika, IPS, dan Bahasa Indonesia. Sehabis belajar saya bermain congklak bersama Elma, Alya, Piya, dan Rika.

Saya bermain congklak bersama Elma. Setelah lama bermain, akhirnya Elma kalah. Permainan dimulai kembali oleh Alya dan Piya. Sore hari, saya pulang ke rumah, mandi dulu.

Setelah selesai mandi, saya bermain kembali bersama teman-teman hingga maghrib.

Group study

I had a group study at Arya’s house. I studied with Saipul, Fahmi and Sultan. We studied math. We learned about 2D shapes. We helped each other when one of us had difficulties. After math, we studied Indonesian language about conversation. We enjoyed studying together.

After the group study, we all went home. On the way home, suddenly it rained, with strong wind. We were panic to find a shelter. Finally when the rain was over we all went home.

Belajar Kelompok

Saya belajar kelompok di rumah Arya. Saya belajar bersama Saipul, Fahmi, dan Sultan. Kami semua belajar matematika. Kami belajar tentang bangun datar. Kami semua saling membantu ketika ada teman yang kesulitan. Setelah belajar matematika, kami belajar bahasa Indonesia tentang percakapan. Kami semua sangat senang dapat belajar bersama.

Setelah belajar kelompok, kami semua pulang. Saat pulang, tiba-tiba hujan, angin bertiup sangat kencang. Kami semua kebingungan mencari tempat untuk berteduh. Akhirnya setelah reda, kami semua pulang ke rumah masing-masing.

Helping Our Parents

On Monday, 18th April 2011, I was on school holiday. I woke up and made up my bed, I swept the floor then I took a shower. After shower, I had a breakfast. After breakfast, I played marbles.

At noon, I had lunch. After lunch, I had a nap. That day I had a long nap, from 12pm to 3pm. After waking up, I help mum swept and mopped the floor. After that, I played again.

Membantu Orang Tua

Pada Senin, 18 April 2011, saya libur sekolah. Bangun tidur pagi, selesai membereskan tempat tidur, saya menyapu rumah dengan bersih, setelah itu mandi. Setelah mandi, saya sarapan pagi. Sehabis sarapan pagi, saya bermain kelereng.

Siang hari saya makan siang. Habis makan siang, saya tidur siang. Hari itu saya tidur siang lama sekali, dari jam 12.00 hingga jam 15.00. Bangun tidur, saya bantu ibu menyapu dan mengepel lantai. Setelah itu, saya bermain kembali.

Going to the Market

I woke up really early that morning because my mum asked my younger sibling and I going to the market. My younger sibling and I showered. After shower, I exercised for a while.

We took public transport to the market. In the market, mum bought a chicken to be cooked. I bought a robot for 2,500 rupiahs. My sibling bought a toy car for 2,000 rupiahs. I saw my mum bought some rice for our family.

I sat waiting for mum to buy some oranges which felt like ages. Finally I bought an ice cream for 500 rupiahs. Mom bought me a pair of sandals as my old ones was ripped off when I hit a rock. My younger sibling fell and Mum told me off.

In the market, mum bought me a hat. I chose the one with a football picture. My sibling chose an Ipin-Upin one. My younger sibling and I were happy, we bought some ice creams again. On the way home, I was feeling sick, wanted to vomit, but I hold up until we got home. At home I felt better, not sick anymore.

I was happy to accompany mum shopping in the market!
