The experience of watching short film together. Children Learning Activity Report May 2024.

 

Dear friends,

 

We thank our loyal friends for keeping the children learning community run until today. Thank you for all your prayers and kind attention to the children.

 

At the end of April, we distributed prizes to the best and all categories children who participated in 1^st Quarter Review.

 

We thank facilitators, mothers, the personnel of Cakung’s and Ciawi’s learning center who dedicate their time to help us.  

 

Underneath, we show you some pictures of Cakung’s and Ciawi’s children’s May 2024’s activities include playing local Nusantara “kuartet” games in appreciation of their root and culture. We also include picture of Cakung’s mother making eco enzyme.  

 

We are thankful for all dedicated donors who have been helping the children. We are still searching for donations to accommodate several programs this year, 2024, especially for the outdoor activity and training.

 

The theme of 2024 out door and training is to love other living creatures.

 

Many incidents of animal cruelty conducted by young person encourage us to show the children short documentary film after learning activity.

 

Lesson learned from short film’s activity, children are able to pick their chosen film and discuss it. We hope that children can develop sense of responsibility to other creatures and respect to pets, wild animals, animals that wonder on the  street and plants that grow in their yard or outside.

.

To accommodate the Children Learning Community outdoor activity, we plan to bring the children out of their class room in July. The budget of this activity is 10 Million IDR.

 

 

To fulfil the monthly operation, we would like to ask you to keep remember us in your contribution

It is our responsibility to give children the opportunity to be smart, independent and prosper in their own community. In doing so, we participate in nation’s effort for social justice.

1. Cakung’s learning schedule will be on Monday and Thursday; Ciawi’s will be on Friday.

1. Visiting the sight place of July 2024;s outdoor activity and training.

1. Sort out some books to be donated to the outside community’s children.
