Happy Eid al-Fitr 1445 H

Our sincere apology for any wrongdoings.

 

We thank our loyal friends for keeping the children learning community run until today. Thank you for all your prayers and kind attention to the children.

  

We thank facilitators, mothers, the personnel of Cakung’s and Ciawi’s learning center who dedicate their time to help us.  

 

In March, the children enjoyed several day of holiday including a day at the beginning of Moeslem fasting and three days of Easter break.

 

The children also had a visit from the ladies of WKRI of Saint Theresia church, Central Jakarta.

They brought lunch and goodie bags for the children and also some fund for Cakung’s learning center.

 

The children were excited interacting with their visitors. The ladies introduced themselves to the children and gave the children quizzes with prize of candy and chocolates.

 

The children thank the ladies of WKRI Saint Theresia church for their attention and time to see their happy faces.

 

Ciawi’s children also had their break in the beginning of fasting month. Before break, the children and community mothers got together for lunch.  They follow a local tradition called ‘Cucurak”, a gathering before a month of Moeslem fasting.

 

Following are pictures of Cakung’s and Ciawi’s children’s March 2024 activities, distributing nutritious meal and Ciawi’s “Cucurak” program.

 

 

We are thankful for all dedicated donors who have been helping the children. Today, scholarships and nutritious food program are being helped by several donors. We are still in need for you to support several Children Learning Community 2024 programs.

April 2024 activity plan :

 

1. Learning Activity
1. Cakung’s and Ciawi’s children enjoy national holiday in commemoration to Moeslem’s Ied al-Fitr in the 2^nd week of April 2024.
2. Quarter I review session will be at week 4 of April 2024
3. We are still doing maintenance of our learning facility and raising money to buy TV wall mounted.

 

2. Teenagers and mothers skill development.

1. Analysing economic impact selling products out of recycling coffee packs and greeting cards out of paper quilling 

b.   Cakung’s mother learn to make eco-enzyme.

3. Office and administration.

We are so grateful to have helps from an old friend and her friends who is willing to clear up our debt, including interest and fee, from credit union.

 

We are truly grateful to all donors’ commitment to support with finances, materials, efforts and prayers this month.

 

We thank our donors for their financial dedication which is valuable for maintaining the operation of Children Learning Community.

Your support truly help us and has a great impact to future generation.
