Begin the New Year with Fresh Activities. Children Learning Community January 2024 Report

 

Dear friends,

  

We thank our loyal friends for keeping the children learning community run until today. Thank you for all your prayers and kind attention to the children.

 

In the beginning of new year, all activities run well. Activities are scheduled on Monday and Thursday. On Monday, children learn English and their mothers learn to develop their craft. On Thursday, children learn Bahasa Indonesia, the local language, Math and reading their required books.

 

This year, Ciawi’s facilitators still need our help. Therefore, for the rest of 2024, we will assist Ciawi’s children on Friday.

 

Children thank CIA Magazine team for their donation of writing tablet and milk cartoon. The community also thank LDD team for donation of books and stationary, milk cartoon, vitamin and packages of food. We also thank big sister Ari and the ladies of KKIT for donation of clothing and breakfast cereal.    

 

Clothing are sold to raise some fund to support the Children Learning Community operation. From the clothing sales,  we are able to obtain IDR 577,000.   

 

In the beginning of the year, we also obtain IDR 1,781,400 from the cooperative dividend. We used it to help our January’s operational expenses.     

 

Although we have to go through a very tough time, we are grateful that we are able to provide the children with learning activity and nutritious food program. 

 

Friends, thank you for your dedicated support to the children’s future and wellbeing.

 

We are grateful for your material and financial support. We also thank you also to your kindness in sharing our activities to others.

 

We thank facilitators, mothers, the personnel of Cakung’s and Ciawi’s learning center who dedicate their time to help us.  

 

Following are pictures of Cakung’s and Ciawi’s children’s activities, Cakung’s mother skill development and nutritious meal program in the month of January 2024.

 

This month, the mothers learn to make Kombucha, healthy fermented tea.  

 

The children’s enthusiasm for education, motivate us to seek help for their school needs.

We are thankful for all dedicated donors who have been helping the children with scholarship. Together, we help the children to stay in school.

 

Your attention and generosity boost our morale and effort to care for the children.

1. Learning activity schedule of Cakung’s and Ciawi’s children are  on Monday, Thursday and Friday.
2. Scholarship

1. Monthly school fee and school related expenses will be distributed to several scholarships’ recipients.

 

3. Teenagers and mothers skill development.
1. February : Making bags, purse and Mobile Phone pocket out of recycle coffee bag. 

 

4. Office and Administration

 

As of January 2024, the amount due of Children Learning Community’s loan was 17,500,000 IDR .
