Enjoy a long holiday, Children Learning Community June 2024 Report

 

Dear friends,

 

We thank our loyal friends for keeping the children learning community run until today. Thank you for all your prayers and kind attention to the children.

 

Cakung’s children spent their long holiday at learning home. We were excited to learn that all children were all passing their grades and  move up to a new class. Once they learn about the outdoor trip to Ragunan, children were very enthusiast coming to learning home.

 

We thank facilitators, mothers, the personnel of Cakung’s and Ciawi’s learning center who dedicate their time to help us.

We are thankful for all dedicated donors who have been helping the children’s activities. Children also would like to thank to Mrs. Nani for her healthy meal donation at the end of June 2024. We have enough food even the facilitators can enjoy meal before their reviewing session.  

 

We pray for Mrs. Nani health and prosperity. In the future, we hope to have Mrs. Nani working with us in assisting the children.

 

The theme of 2024 activity is ”Caring for living being”, therefore on the 4th of July 2024, children had a chance to visit Ragunan which is a place of educational farming, vegetation as well as the famous Ragunan Zoo. 

 

Children are divided into 5 age group. We have toddlers, under 5 and several groups of children with average 7 to 12 years old. 

 

They accompanied by big brothers and sisters from Kanisius and St. Ursula High school.

 

Children also were grateful to see Mrs. Arleta, Mr. Heru, big brother Arsita and others who assisted them on this trip. 

 

They learned about nature, variety of plants and animals.

 

We thank our dear friends for their support on this activity. We thank Mrs. Herna for helping us with the bus. We also thank big brother Kurnia, Saneri, big sister Intan Mrs. Martini, Bong En Nie family and Mrs. Widya for financial donation.

 

Attach is the June 2024 Operation’s need. We have a very limited cash at this moment, therefore to cover the needs in coming months, we secure our operational needs through  loan.

To fulfil the operational needs for the rest of 2024, we would like to ask you to keep remember us in your monthly contribution

 

It is our responsibility to give children the opportunity to be smart, independent and prosper in their own community. In doing so, we participate in nation’s effort for social justice.  

 

Your kind attention and support are tremendous moral boost to us in caring for these children.

 

July 2024 plan :

 

1. Learning Activity

1. Cakung’s children will be having their learning on Monday and Thursday; Ciawi’s will be on Friday.
2. Cakung’s children enjoy the openair visit to Agroedukasi Wisata Ragunan, the vegetation education center, and the Ragunan Zoo on Thusday at the 4^th of July 2024.  

2. Library

1. Review our library book collection and sort out the one that we don’t need them and deliver them to several places where children are in need for reading materials.

 

We are truly grateful to all donors’ commitment to support with finances, materials, efforts and prayers this month.
