Big brother Hendra lite up the children’s learning spirit . Children Learning Community, October 2020 Report

 

Dear friends,

 

 

We were grateful to God and to our loyal friends who supported the children learning community’s activity throughout October 2020.

 

We thank facilitators who assist the children in all activities.

 

We also thank all parents for their trust. During pandemic, all activities were run with cautious.

 

 

The family of September 2020’s fire victims thanked Mr. Dikdik and also the family of Mr. Dani and Mrs. Widya for their donations. We received donations in the beginning of October 2020 and distributed them right away.  

 

 

We also thanked big sister Rania of Oneworld for donations of cloth surgical masks. We also grateful to Mr. Arif and Mrs. Maria for donation of surgical masks and clear plastic face cover. Despite the children’s unpleasant feeling, relentlessly, we reminded them to put on surgical masks to cover their nose and mouth. We also reminded them to maintain safe distance with their friends.

 

In the middle of October, big brother Hendra came to join as Cakung’s and Rorotan’s facilitator.

 

While waiting for the answer of his graduate’s submission, big brother Hendra decided to donate his time with the children until the end of the year. 

 

Children are very happy to have big brother Hendra around.

Children were grateful to receive scholarship assistance this month. We are also thankful for the opportunity to provide for these children.

 

All school expenses were done by bank transfer. Due to need for internet, the usual transportation and snack allowance were directed for internet fee on line school activities. An elementary school children received a bicycle this month.

 

Children thank loyal donors for providing scholarship assistance.

 

With your support, children will have a better future.

 

We ask many of our loyal friends to remember these children and communities.

 

Your generous kindness and supports have helped us. They boosted our morale and spirit to care for these children and communities.

 

November 2020 Plan:

 

1. Learning Activity at Cakung, Rorotan, and Ciawi.

1. During pandemic, facilitators distribute lesson and communicate with the children through group whatsapp messages
2. Cakung’s and Rorotan’s facilitators will be doing lesson review every Friday. Ciawi’s facilitators were scheduled to do lesson review at the end of the month. 

 

2. Scholarship

 

 

3. Basic Needs Cooperative Effort

Cakung’s and Ciawi’s community cooperative officers keep track of sales, inventory and purchase out of stock items.

 

We are grateful to our friends for their prayers, finances, efforts and materials’ support throughout this month.

 

You have boosted our spirit in bringing up the underprivileged community. You have given these children the opportunity to be smart, independent and prosper in their own community. Together, we have taken part in the nation’s effort for social justice.   Financial contributions and supports are still needed for this year’s budget. 

 

Despite hardship of pandemic, many of loyal donors are still dedicating their resources for the children.

 

The children were very grateful for that. It was helpful for day to day operation and Children Learning’s activities.

  

Even the smallest help will be beneficial for future generations’ education development.

 

We thank Sr. Maria, BKK for donations of clothing, plush toys and reading books. We also thank big sister Arleta for donation of clothing, shoes, a Christmas’ tree and ornaments. We also grateful to big sister Lisa and Stefani MD for donation of reading books.

 

The children were really grateful for all donations. They were valuable for this month’s program.

 

We thank dedicated donors for their faith and trust.
