My House

I live on Bulak lane no. 10, RT 03 RW 12, Kayu Tinggi, East Cakung, East Jakarta. If we take a public transport KWK 21 from Pulo Gadung direction, this lane is on the left hand side of the main street, Kayu Tinggi, opposite of Cempaka VIII St. My house is located right at the entrance of the lane, on the left side. It means it is on the corner with the main street, Kayu Tinggi.

I live together with my mom, dad and two elder brothers.

It is a cool and beautiful house. At the front of the house, there is a little deli facing the main street. Inside the deli, there is my room and next to it is my siblings’ room. My dad and my mom sometimes sleep in my room or in my brothers’. I more often sleep together with my brothers.

On the right hand side of the deli, my room and my brothers’, there is an open area and a kitchen which we use to prepare food for sale in the deli. Behind this open area, there is a bathroom.

My favourite room is this open area room which also functions as kitchen. I like to be there as I do washing dishes. I often help my mom to cook rice and fish.
