Progress Report of Children Learning Community on August 2013

Dear friends,

Happy Eid Mobarrak 1434 H to our friends who celebrate it
and let us forgive our fault each other.


On August 2013, the learning activities could run well. Thank you very much for your prayer and support.

On the 1st week of August, 2013, the learning activities ran and the next two weeks, they were off due to Moslem holiday and the Independence day.

During holidays, the facilitators visited Cakung community and for few days, the teenagers with the facilitator did the life-skill and library activities.

Alternative Learning Activities

a. Cakung Children Community

The learning activities were still doing on the 1st week on August 2013, after that on the next two weeks, the activities were off. It began on the 4th week on August 2013, to be exact on Friday, August 23rd, 2013.

On the first day of learning activities, there were just some children coming, and many children come later on Saturday, August 24th, 2013.

On Tuesday, August 27th, 2013, there was the sewing workshop coordinated by Mrs. July Dharmasoeka and her assistant, Mr. Nanang. Some teenagers and mothers followed the workshop. It started from 09.30 AM to 12 AM, before the learning activities beginning. For a month ahead, the workshop will run for the teenagers and the mothers who interested in.

The sewing workshop on Tuesday, August 27th, 2013 begin with the introduction of the parts of sewing machine and the know-how. We started with the hemming machine. On Saturday, August 31st, 2013, we tried to use sewing machine and sew straightly.

We are so grateful to Mrs. July Dharmasoeka and her assistant who would like to spare time giving sewing workshop in the learning house. We hope the skill that we get, become the worth provide for the children’s future.

The teenagers filled the holidays with life-skill activity, making bead accesorries, such as earings, bracelet, and necklace, while the small children came to play scrabble, snake and ladder board game, congklak (traditional Indonesian board game played with shells as tokens), also drawing and reading science magazines, Kuark.

b. The Muara Baru Community

The learning activities are held on the 1st and the 3rd Sunday on August 2013.

The learning activities were doing in Mrs. Herda’s house because the hall has been prepared for moslem activity during fasting month.

On the 1st Sunday of August, 2013, the children decreased because not all children have back from their homeland, and more children followed the learning activity on the 3rd Sunday of August, 2013.

The gas price increased few months ago and it become a trigger of the increasing of the price of groceries and transportation. We adjust the situation by increasing some of the facilitators travel and subsistance for every children learning facilitating activity. We hope it keeps the learning activities continue well.

We thank all the collaborative works between the facilitators, the volunteers, the children, and the residents of Cakung and Muara Baru, especially to Mrs. Herda at Muara Baru, Ms. Lisa, Ms. Henni, Ms. Qori’ah, Indri, Riska, Asih, and the children coordinator program.

Bibliotheque

The activities of this month were still finishing the administration things. As the schedule, on the early August 2013, we finished the reparation of the bookshelves. A Cakung handyman repaired them.

We have 6 boxes reading books and science books from Mrs. July Dharmasoeka. Thank you very much for your supporting on behalf of the knowledge and skill development of the children creativity. We hope the collaboration will continue well and become the worth provide for the children future.

We thank for the attention and the perseverance of the team, especially during holidays.

Nutrition Improvement Program for Children

On August 2013, the program could run well.

Besides drinking milk, the healthy menus on this month were kolak, ketoprak, and ice of cucumber, jelly, with calamondin.

On the 1st Saturday on August 2013, the children cooked kolak, the drink during Moslem fasting break accompanied by some facilitators. After the learning activities, the children back home and come back in the evening before the fasting break, and enjoy together the special menu.

On the same day, the children help the facilitator in collecting harvest. We cleaned and cooked the red spinach as the menu of fasting break.

We are so grateful, could take the harvest, which we plant for several weeks.

While on the 2nd and 3rd Saturday on August 2013, the menu were off due to Lebaran holiday.

On the 4th Saturday of August 2013, the team prepared ketoprak (steamed beansprout, rice noodle with spicy peanut sauce and rice chips. The preparation was helped by some facilitators, especially in making spicy peanut sauce which take more time. The children like to enjoy this healthy menu.

On the 5th Saturday of August 2013, the team who helped by some facilitators, prepared fruit ice, such as calamondin and cucumber, adding jelly which cooked in the morning. On the midday, the team washed and scraping the cucumber into long slices, also with jelly, adding water, sugar, and calamondin with ice. This summer will be fresh for the children by drinking fruit ice which rich of vitamin C and antioxidant.

We thank the team who organised the healthy menu and cooked it during August 2013 and special thanks to the facilitators, Ms. Henni who lend a hand during preparation.

Children Scholarship

On August 2013, there are two weeks holiday for school children and the school began on Sunday, August 19th, 2013. While for the university student, there were campus long holiday on the 2nd semester and the school will begin at the end of September 2013.

Asih (17 years old) & Amel (16 years old), Two droppedout children participated in learning activities since July 2013. On mid-August 2013, Asih registered the sewing course and started to learn a day after. She took twice a week course at sewing course, Singer. While Amel choose to follow the life-skill activity in the learning house, waiting for the beginning of the computer workshop on October 2013.

Thank you so much to our friends who would like to support the program regularly. We hope the collaboration will continue well and become the worth provide for the children’s future.

September 2013 Activity Plans

1. Learning Activities

a. The children learning evaluation on the 2nd quarterly for the children from all category on Saturday, September 7th, 2013. The children who followed the evaluation have opportunity to swim together on the pool nearby. The schedule is on Friday, September 13th, 2013.
b. The sewing workshop is holding every Saturday morning from 09.30 AM to 12.00 AM. All the people in community have opportunity to follow it.
c. Life-skill activity is holding every day until night as the preparation of the bazaar of St. Ursula High School reunion. The productions are paper quilling cards, creation of the recycled materials, accessories, bags, and salted egg.

2. The Nutrition Improvement Program for Children

a. Providing the healthy menu and purchasing milk, also providing the kitchenware.

3. Bibliotheque

a. Providing a library bookshelf, manage the library books, and purchasing plastic cover.

4. The teenagers income generating activity

a. Participate in a bazaar of the St. Ursula high school reunion at the hall of St. Ursula elementary school on Saturday, September 22nd, 2013.

Laporan Kegiatan Komunitas Anak Belajar pada Agustus 2013

Salam jumpa teman-teman yang baik,

Selamat Idul Fitri 1434 H,
mohon maaf lahir batin bagi teman-teman yang merayakannya.

Pada bulan Agustus 2013 ini, kegiatan Komunitas Anak Belajar dapat berjalan dengan baik. Terimakasih atas bantuan dan doa teman-teman.

Pada minggu I Agustus 2013, kegiatan belajar masih berlangsung dan dua minggu berikutnya kegiatan belajar diliburkan sehubungan dengan hari raya Lebaran dan libur umum hari raya kemerdekaan Indonesia.

Selama libur Lebaran, selain para fasilitator mengunjungi warga untuk bersilaturahmi, anak-anak remaja didampingi fasilitator melaksanakan kegiatan ketrampilan dan perpustakaan.

Kegiatan Belajar Alternatif

a. Komunitas Anak Cakung


Kegiatan belajar masih dilakukan pada minggu I Agustus 2013, setelah itu selama dua minggu berikutnya kegiatan belajar diliburkan. Kegiatan belajar dimulai kembali pada minggu IV Agustus, tepatnya pada Jumat, 23 Agustus 2013.

Pada hari pertama kegiatan belajar, masih sedikit anak-anak peserta kegiatan belajar yang hadir, dan mulai bertambah pada Sabtu, 24 Agustus 2013.

Pada hari Selasa, 27 Agustus 2013, diadakan pelatihan menjahit menggunakan mesin dikoordinir oleh Bu July Dharmasoeka dibantu Pak Nanang sebagai asisten. Beberapa anak remaja dan ibu datang mengikuti kegiatan ini. Kegiatan dilakukan mulai pukul 09.30 pagi hingga pukul 12.00 siang, sebelum kegiatan belajar anak-anak dimulai. Selama sebulan ke depan, setiap Sabtu pagi akan diadakan pelatihan jahit bagi para remaja dan ibu-ibu warga sekitar yang berminat.

Kegiatan menjahit pada Selasa, 27 Agustus 2013 dimulai dengan pengenalan bagian-bagian mesin jahit dan cara perawatannya. Dimulai dengan pengenalan mesin obras, setiap peserta mempraktekkan penggunaan mesin obras berikut perawatannya. Pada Sabtu, 31 Agustus 2013, pelatihan menjahit kedua ini dimulai dengan pengenalan mesin jahit menggunakan dynamo, setiap peserta wajib mencoba menggunakan mesin jahit dan mulai belajar menjahit lurus.

Kami amat sangat berterimakasih pada Bu July Dharmasoeka yang berkenan mengadakan pelatihan menjahit di rumah belajar. Kiranya ketrampilan yang kami peroleh ini, dapat sungguh-sungguh berguna dan dapat kami gunakan sebagai bekal masa depan kami.

Kegiatan ketrampilan selama masa liburan, diisi dengan pembuatan asesoris berupa anting, kalung, dan gelang.

Setiap saat anak-anak yang berkunjung ke rumah belajar di luar hari belajar, mereka isi dengan kegiatan ketrampilan. Sementara anak-anak kecil yang datang, biasanya bermain congklak, scrabble, ular tangga, maupun menggambar dan membaca majalah.

b. Komunitas Muara Baru

Selama bulan ini, kegiatan belajar dilakukan pada hari Minggu I, dan III.
Kegiatan belajar dilakukan di rumah Bu Herda karena aula tempat belajar dipersiapkan untuk kegiatan tarawih selama bulan puasa.

Jumlah anak pada minggu I Agustus berkurang karena belum semua anak kembali dari kampong halamannya, namun pada minggu III setelah libur Lebaran, jumlah anak kembali bertambah, sementara itu kegiatan belajar masih dilaksanakan di rumah Bu Herda.

Sejak kenaikan harga BBM bulan lalu yang memicu kenaikan harga sandang, pangan, dan papan, maka sedikit kenaikan biaya transportasi dan konsumsi dalam kegiatan pendampingan terpaksa kami lakukan untuk menjaga tetap terselenggaranya kegiatan belajar Komunitas Anak Belajar.

Akhirnya kami ucapkan terimakasih banyak atas kerjasama para fasilitator, volunteer, anak-anak, warga Cakung dan Muara Baru, baik pada Kak Lisa, Kak Henni, Kak Qori’ah, Riska, Asih, Indri, dan anak-anak pengurus program, serta Bu Herda di Muara Baru.

Perpustakaan

Kegiatan perpustakaan sepanjang bulan ini masih menyelesaikan administrasi perpustakaan. Sesuai rencana Agustus 2013, pada awal Agustus, kami menyelesaikan perbaikan lemari perpustakaan yang rusak. Seorang warga Cakung membantu perbaikan lemari perpustakaan dan lemari untuk menyimpan buku-buku pelajaran dan alat tulis serta pintu-pintu ruangan yang mulai rusak.
Kami mendapatkan sumbangan buku-buku bacaan umum dan pengetahuan dari Bu July Dharmasoeka. Terimakasih banyak atas bantuan buku-buku yang diberikan untuk kami gunakan demi peningkatan kecerdasan dan kreatifitas anak.

Kami ucapkan terimakasih banyak atas perhatian dan ketekunan koordinator dan tim program perpustakaan, terutama selama masa liburan, masih setia meluangkan waktu untuk menyelesaikan tugas ini.

Kegiatan Peningkatan Gizi Anak

Selama Agustus 2013 ini, kegiatan peningkatan gizi anak berlangsung dengan baik.

Selain minum susu rutin, menu sehat bulan ini adalah kolak, ketoprak, dan es ketimun agar-agar jeruk nipis.

Pada Sabtu I Agustus 2013, kegiatan belajar dilakukan seminggu sebelum libur Lebaran. Anak-anak membuat kolak dibantu beberapa kakak fasilitator sebagai hidangan buka puasa. Setelah kegiatan belajar, anak-anak pulang ke rumahnya masing-masing, dan sore hari sebelum buka puasa, anak-anak hadir kembali untuk menikmati kolak.

Pada hari itu, beberapa anak membantu memanen hasil kebun berupa bayam merah dan setelah itu, kami cuci dan kami masak, sebagai lauk untuk berbuka puasa di rumah belajar.

Kami senang akhirnya berhasil memanen hasil kebun, yang telah ditanam sejak beberapa minggu yang lalu.

Pada Sabtu II dan Sabtu III Agustus 2013, menu sehat ditiadakan sehubungan dengan libur Lebaran.

Pada Sabtu IV Agustus 2013, menu sehat yang disiapkan tim kegiatan peningkatan gizi anak adalah ketoprak, Proses pelaksanaan dibantu oleh kakak-kakak fasilitator, terutama dalam pembuatan bumbu kacang yang memakan waktu lama. Anak-anak senang sekali menikmati menu sehat ini.

Pada Sabtu V Agustus 2013, tim peningkatan gizi anak dibantu beberapa kakak fasilitator mempersiapkan es buah segar, berupa jeruk nipis dan ketimun, ditambah agar-agar yang dibuat sejak pagi hari, dan pada siang hari menjelang penyajian, agar-agar diparut memanjang, demikian juga dengan ketimun, kemudian dicampur perasan jeruk nipis ditambah air, gula pasir, dan es batu. Musim panas ini menjadi terasa segar dengan hidangan es buah yang kaya akan vitamin C dan bermanfaat sebagai antioksidan.

Kami berterimakasih pada koordinator dan tim pengurus program yang telah mempersiapkan menu sehat dengan baik selama Agustus 2013, juga pada Kak Henni yang turut membantu tim.

Beasiswa

Selama Agustus 2013, anak-anak SD libur Lebaran selama dua minggu dan kegiatan sekolah dimulai kembali pada Senin, 19 Agustus 2013. Sedangkan bagi penerima beasiswa tingkat universitas, selama bulan Agustus masih libur kuliah semester II dan kegiatan perkuliahan semester baru akan dimulai pada akhir September 2013.

Asih (17 tahun) dan Amel (16 tahun), dua anak putus sekolah yang sejak Juli 2013 terlibat dalam kegiatan belajar, aktif terlibat dalam kegiatan ketrampilan. Sejak pertengahan Agustus 2013, Asih mendaftar kursus menjahit dan mulai belajar esok harinya. Kursus dilaksanakan dua kali seminggu di tempat kursus jahit Singer. Sementara Amel memilih untuk mengikuti kegiatan ketrampilan di rumah belajar sambil menunggu waktu belajar komputer yang dimulai pada bulan Oktober 2013.

Terimakasih kami pada teman-teman yang berkenan rutin membantu penyelenggaraan program beasiswa ini. Kami berharap kerjasama ini dapat terus berlanjut dan menjadi bekal yang berguna bagi masa depan anak-anak.

Rencana kegiatan di bulan September 2013 ini adalah :

1. Kegiatan Belajar

a. Evaluasi belajar Caturwulan II bagi anak-anak peserta belajar seluruh kategori pada Sabtu, 7 September 2013 di rumah belajar.
b. Bagi seluruh peserta kegiatan belajar yang telah mengikuti evaluasi belajar Caturwulan II mendapat kesempatan untuk berenang bersama pada Kamis atau Jumat siang, 12 atau 13 September 2013 di kolam renang terdekat.
c. Pelatihan menjahit dilakukan setiap Sabtu pagi, mulai pukul 09.30 hingga pukul 12.00 di rumah belajar. Pelatihan terbuka bagi seluruh remaja dan warga sekitar.
d. Kegiatan ketrampilan dilakukan setiap siang hingga sore atau malam hari sebagai persiapan pengadaan bazaar di aula SD St. Ursula. Kegiatan ketrampilan berupa pembuatan kartu ucapan paper quilling, pembuatan kreasi dari bahan daur ulang, pembuatan tas, asesoris, dan telur asin.

2. Kegiatan Peningkatan Gizi Anak
a. Persiapan bahan-bahan menu sehat dan pembelian susu serta penyediaan perlengkapan masak yang memadai.

3. Perpustakaan
a. Penyediaan lemari buku tambahan, penataan buku-buku perpustakaan, dan pembelian sampul plastik.

4. Kegiatan Usaha Ekonomi Remaja
a. Pengadaan bazaar di aula SD St.Ursula pada Sabtu, 22 September 2013 dalam rangka reuni alumni SMA St. Ursula.

Progress Report of Children Learning Community on July 2013

Dear friends,

On July 2013, the Children Learning activities could run well. Thank you very much for your prayer and support.

On early July 2013, to be exact on Saturday, July 6th, 2013, the learning activity is held on the Science & Technology Demonstration Center, at Indonesian Miniature Park. This annual activity is held for developing the children learning spirit also for taking up the school holiday.

There were 67 children and parent following this activity. It began at 8 o’clock in the morning, we started with attendance roll and form some groups, also pay the fee Rp.15.000,- each. Almost all the fee are from the children saving which is organized by Tia and Mayang as the coordinators of children saving activity. We supported some children who have not enough saving and unable to pay for. The parents allowed to follow this activity, especially for the children from the 0, 1, & 2 categories. Every parents have to pay same fee as their children.

Transportation supported by our friend, Mrs. Herna Rusli who manage the bus company, SJ Langgeng Utama. The bus parked at the nearby gas station, because the bigger transportation couldn’t pass through the long narrow street to the learning house. The consumption supported by our friend, Ms. Arry Fitriana from KFC. We took the lunch boxes in the morning before we leaving. After call roll, each group conducted by a coordinator, which is a facilitator is leaving to take the bus. We were leaving at 9 AM.

On the location, we gather to eat, before enter the Science and Technology Demonstration Center. After lunch, we went inside, every group free to explore until we gather back on the bus at 3 PM.

The children were so enthusiastic to follow the activity. For one and half hour before we came back to the bus, we entered to the hall, watching the movie about ancient animals and follow the nitrogen experiment. Some children went forward, participating in the experiment.

Before leaving, we held a quiz about the knowledge that we have there. The facilitators as the head of the group make some questions. The children who could answer the question correctly will get a present, such as pencils, colouring books, and notebooks.

We were going back to the nearby gas station about 5 PM. Although the children and their parents were tired after following the outdoor activity from morning til evening, the small knowledge & experience provisions were able to fill one stage of their life and their cheerfull childhood.

At the end of July 2013, to be exact on Saturday morning, July 27th, 2013, Mrs. Ari – Mr. Edi and family visited us after long time when learning activity was still in Cakung field area. Mrs. Ari and Mr. Edi came with the son, Raka bring secondhand clothes and papers also milk chocolates, wafers, chocolates, toothbrushes, and toothpastes. Raka, the youngest child participated in pouring the plants and singing together with the children before they drink milk. They were leaving before the learning activity began.

In the evening on the same day, before the fasting break, Mrs. Amelia and her coworkers from PT Stahlarbeit visited the learning house bringing some presents and consumption for fasting break. The children were so happy. We introduced each other and the children sing and give an Aceh dance performance, Rampak Gendang. After that, the children asked the guests to go around the field nearby. They had presents & meal box before they take some pictures together with the guests and say goodbye before the guests leaving.

Thank you very much for Mrs. Ari – Mr. Edi & family’s visiting and attention. Thanks to Mrs. Amelia and her friends of PT Stahlarbeit for attention and willingness to share with us. We hope the collaboration will continue well.

Alternative Learning Activities

a. Cakung Children Community

The learning activity on Saturday 1st on July 2013, was the special learning activity through outdoor activity following by more children and accompanied by their parents. The outdoor activity increase the spirit and enthusiastic of the children in learning. This annual activity is held in the middle of the year to fill the school holiday.

The outdoor activity is held in five groups divided based on categories. Ms. Qori’ah accompanied the children of the 3rd category. Ms. Lisna accompanied the children of the 2nd category, while Ms. Henni with the children of the 1st category and Ms. Gaby accompanied the children of the 0 category also Ms. Vero.

On Sunday, July 21st, 2013, we take the outdoor life-skill activity with Ms. Linda and Mrs. Widya at Tulodong area, South Jakarta. The activity is for the children of the 3rd category also for some droppout children accompanied by some facilitators.
It followed by 10 participants and 2 facilitators, begin at 10 AM until 2 PM. The activity is divided into 2 groups. The first group for up to 10 years old children facilitated by Mrs. Widya, while the second group for below 10 years old children faciliated by Ms. Linda. Every children have to produce an accessory which will be their own. After production, we take some pictures together wearing our own accessory. Before leaving, we are given some materials, tools, and some samples to create any accesorries.

We were so glad and thankful for the skill that we learn and the materials that we have from Ms. Linda and Mrs. Widya. We hope this activity could be a trigger to increase the children spirit to create and help them to have income for their savings in the future. We hope our cooperation will continue well.

We have some equipments for learning and life-skill activity from Mrs. Ita, Mrs. Reynacil Xavier and the friends of Samenleven Organization and Provincie Limburg, such as table chair sets, cupboards to keep learning and life-skill materials, mats, laptop and the speaker for watching movie together, folding table, and sewing machines. We were so glad and thankful. We hope these equipments could exalarate the children learning quality and become the worth provide for the children’s future.

b. The Muara Baru Community

The learning activities are held on the 2nd and the 4th Sunday on July 2013.

The learning activities still done during moslem fasting month. The children quantity decreased because of some children take a rest in the middle of the day. The learning activity are held at Mrs. Herda’s house because the hall has been prepared for moslem activity during fasting month.

We learned together on Tuesday, July 30th, 2013 from morning til evening. The learning activity is held on three steps. In the morning, the learning activity was for the children who begin to know alphabets and numbers, in the midday, it was for the children who ready to know alphabets and counting numbers from 0 to 20 and from midday to evening, the children learned counting accompanied by Ms. Indri, learning multiplication by playing snake & ladders accompanied by Ms. Debby also playing scrabble in Bahasa Indonesia.

Before the children leaving, we gave some present, such as toothpaste, toothbrush, and wafer from Mrs. Ari’s family. The children were so happy and thankful for the presents.

Although it was exhausted for us to accompany the children from morning til evening, the spirit of joy is always keep in our heart when we see the children learn together enthusiastic. We hope the spirit and the willingness of the children could develop well.

The gas price increased a month ago and it become a trigger of the increasing of the price of groceries and transportation. We adjust the situation by increasing some of the facilitators travel and subsistance for every children learning facilitating activity. We hope it keeps the learning activities continue well.

We thank all the collaborative works between the facilitators, the volunteers, the children, and the residents of Cakung and Muara Baru, especially to Mrs. Herda at Muara Baru, Ms. Lisa, Ms. Vero, Ms. Henni, Ms. Qori’ah, Ms. Gaby, Indri, Riska, Lisna, Indri, and the children coordinator program.

Bibliotheque

The activities of this month were registering and labeling, also covering the books donation which already registered. We purchased some life-skill books as reference.

The secondhand student books and some reading books were on the table for every children who need it. Some studend books could be borrowed and some could be taken.

The limitation of cupboard made the team have to arrange the books whether could be given or borrowed.

We are grateful to Mrs. Fitri Sudartini and the family of Mrs. Ari Wardani for student books and reading books supporting at the end of July 2013. We will use the donation carefully on behalf of the knowledge and skill development of the children creatifity. We hope the collaboration will continue well and become the worth provide for the children future.

Nutrition Improvement Program for Children

On July 2013, the program could run well.

Besides drinking milk, the healthy menus on this month were vegetables with spicy peanut sauce, watermelon, and coconut ice.
On the 1st Saturday on July 2013, we held the outdoor activity and the menu supported by Ms. Arry Fitriana from KFC for lunch.

While on the 2nd Saturday on July 2013, the children were providing watermelon, on the 3rd Saturday on July 2013, the healthy menu was vegetables with spicy peanut sauce.

Some children were fasting on Moslem fasting month.

On the 4th Saturday on July 2013, we didn’t prepare the healthy menu for being visited by the friends of PT Stahlarbeit who providing some presents and the menu for fasting break.

We thank to Ms. Arry Fitriana, Mrs. Ari Wardani and family for providing milk chocolate, wafer, and chocolate for children, also Mrs. Amelia and her coworkers PT Stahlarbeit.

We thank to Mrs. Novita, Mrs. Reynacil Xavier from Samenleven Organization and Provincie Limburg for supporting free standing gas cooker and refrigerator in the middle of July 2013. We begin to use the gas cooker to cook the healthy menu, also the refrigerator for keeping the groceries.

We thank the team who organised the healthy menu and cooked it during July 2013 and special thanks to the facilitators, Ms. Qori’ah, Ms. Gaby, and Ms. Henni who lend a hand during preparation.

Children Scholarship

From the end of June 2013 until the middle of July 2013 is the school holiday for the new school year. Firman has promoted to the second grade of primary school and also his friends in the learning house. Some children registered to school at their hometown, some registered in the elementary public school at their house nearby, while Indri just finished the second semester examination and has holiday for a week before the examination. After that, more school holiday until Moslem Hari Raya Celebration.

In the middle of July 2013, the new school year began, Firman and his friends ready to enter the new class. We need to purchase notebooks, stationeries, and student books, while a student need to copy and print learning materials also the accomodation to campus and to follow the TOEFL test in the early July 2013.

One of our computers has software problems and need to repair and insist the student to do their school task at the internet rental.

Two droppedout children begin to involve in the learning activities since they participate in life-skill activity. They are Asih (17 years old) and Amel (13 years old). Now they join the children in the 3rd category. We have plan as their wish to register them in sewing course while Amel wants to take computer or cooking course. There are some droppedout boys, but it still difficult to ask them to learn at the learning house because some of them prefer to choose having money for living through garbage collecting or become a temporary field worker.

We are still trying to open their vision and knowledge until they themselves could think forward to have knowledge and skill savings for their future.

a. Children learning holiday on the week II – III of August 2013 due to Hari Raya celebration. The learning activity will open on Friday, August 23rd, 2013.
b. Life-skill activity for Cakung teenager income generating focused on skill based on beads, paper also fabric and yarn for sewing activity.

2. The Nutrition Improvement Program for Children
a. Providing the healthy menu and purchasing milk.

3. Bibliotheque
a. Repairing the library bookshelf and purchasing plastic cover for books, also providing library bookshelf.

4. Children Scholarship

Laporan Kegiatan Komunitas Anak Belajar pada Juli 2013

Salam jumpa teman-teman yang baik,

Pada bulan Juli 2013 ini, kegiatan Komunitas Anak Belajar dapat berjalan dengan baik. Terimakasih atas bantuan dan doa teman-teman.

Pada awal Juli 2013, tepatnya Sabtu, 6 Juli 2013, kegiatan belajar Komunitas Anak Belajar dilakukan di Pusat Peragaan Ilmu Pengetahuan dan Teknologi, Taman Mini Indonesia Indah. Kegiatan tahunan ini dilakukan selain untuk meningkatkan semangat belajar anak juga untuk mengisi waktu libur sekolah.

Sebanyak 67 anak dan orang tua mengikuti kegiatan ini. Kegiatan dimulai pada pukul 8 pagi, dengan absen dan pembagian kelompok di rumah belajar serta pembayaran iuran kegiatan sebesar Rp.15.000,- per anak. Sebagian besar iuran kegiatan digunakan dari tabungan mereka yang dikelola oleh Tia dan Mayang selaku koordinator kegiatan menabung. Kami bantu anak-anak yang memiliki tabungan sedikit dan tidak mampu membiayai kegiatan ini. Orang tua diperbolehkan ikut untuk menemani anak-anak kecil dari kelompok anak kategori 0, 1, dan 2 dengan dikenakan biaya yang sama.

Bantuan transportasi bis dari teman kami, Bu Herna dari SJ Langgeng Utama, diparkir di pompa bensin terdekat, karena kendaraan tidak bisa masuk ke jalan raya menuju rumah belajar. Bantuan konsumsi siang dari teman kami, Kak Arry Fitriana dari KFC, kami ambil pada pagi hari sebelum berangkat. Setelah selesai absen dan pembagian kelompok, satu persatu anggota kelompok dan ketua yang merupakan fasilitator berangkat menuju bis. Kendaraan berangkat sekitar pukul 9 pagi.

Tiba di lokasi, kami berkumpul untuk makan, sebelum masuk ke dalam Pusat Peragaan Ilmu Pengetahuan dan Teknologi. Selesai makan, kami bersama-sama masuk ke dalam. Tiap kelompok menjelajahi setiap peraga yang ada hingga berkumpul kembali di bis pada pukul 3 sore.

Anak-anak sangat antusias mengikuti kegiatan. Pada satu setengah jam sebelum kembali ke bis, kami masuk ke auditorium menonton film tentang hewan purbakala dan mengikuti uji coba gas nitrogen. Beberapa anak ikut serta maju ke depan, berpartisipasi dalam uji coba ini.

Sebelum pulang, kami mengadakan acara kuis mengenai pengetahuan yang telah mereka dapatkan disana. Kuis diberikan oleh kakak-kakak fasilitator sebagai ketua kelompok. Anak-anak yang bisa menjawab dengan baik dan benar mendapatkan hadiah, berupa pensil, buku mewarnai, dan buku tulis.

Kami kembali pulang ke pompa bensin terdekat dengan lokasi rumah belajar, tempat bis parkir sekitar pukul 5 sore. Sekalipun anak-anak dan orang tua lelah setelah mengikuti kegiatan belajar luar ruang dari pagi hingga sore hari, sedikit bekal pengetahuan dan pengalaman yang dibawa anak-anak sudah mampu mengisi satu tahap pengalaman hidup dan keceriaan masa kanak-kanak mereka.

Terimakasih yang sebesar-besarnya kami ucapkan atas bantuan konsumsi dari teman kami, Kak Arry Fitriana dari KFC serta bantuan transportasi bis SJ Langgeng Utama dari Bu Herna Rusli.

Pada akhir Juli 2013, tepatnya Sabtu, 27 Juli 2013, keluarga Bu Ari dan Pak Edi datang berkunjung dan berbincang-bincang bersama kami pada pagi hari sebelum dimulainya kegiatan belajar. Keluarga Bu Ari dan Pak Edi datang berkunjung setelah beberapa tahun yang lalu kegiatan belajar masih dilakukan baik di tempat belajar pinggir kebun maupun sudah berupa tenda belajar. Keluarga Bu Ari dan Pak Edi datang membawa buku-buku pelajaran layak pakai, sikat gigi, pasta gigi, susu, wafer, dan coklat. Raka, anak bungsunya ikut bersamanya. Ia turut terlibat bersama anak-anak dalam kegiatan menyiram tanaman dan bernyanyi bersama sebelum mulai minum susu. Ia membagikan wafer saat anak-anak minum susu. Raka dan keluarga pulang saat kegiatan belajar dimulai. Pasta gigi, sikat gigi, wafer, susu, dan coklat, kami bagikan setelah anak-anak selesai belajar.

Pada sore hari menjelang buka puasa, Bu Amelia dan rekan-rekan kerjanya dari PT Stahlarbeit berkunjung ke rumah belajar membawa bingkisan dan konsumsi buka puasa. Anak-anak Cakung menyambutnya dengan nyanyian dan tarian Rampak Gendang yang pernah mereka pelajari. Setelah itu, rombongan dibawa berkeliling kebun dekat rumah belajar. Bingkisan dan konsumsi buka puasa dibagikan sebelum kami berfoto bersama. Menjelang maghrib, para tamu bergegas pulang.

Terimakasih banyak kami ucapkan pada Keluarga Bu Ari, Pak Edi, dan Raka atas kunjungan dan perhatiannya. Terimakasih kami pada Bu Amelia dan rekan-rekan PT Stahlarbeit atas perhatian dan kesediaannya untuk berbagi bersama kami. Kiranya kerjasama yang telah dijalin selama ini, dapat terus berlanjut dengan baik.

Kegiatan Belajar Alternatif

a. Komunitas Anak Cakung

Kegiatan belajar pada Sabtu I Juli 2013 berlangsung tidak seperti biasanya, karena kegiatan belajar diikuti oleh lebih banyak anak dan ditemani orang tua. Kegiatan yang dilaksanakan di luar rumah belajar, kembali menambah semangat dan antusiasme anak dalam belajar. Kegiatan yang dilaksanakan pertengahan tahun, yang juga dilaksanakan untuk mengisi masa libur sekolah, pada tahun ini dilaksanakan di Pusat Peragaan Ilmu Pengetahuan dan Teknologi TMII.

Kegiatan dilaksanakan oleh lima kelompok, yang dibagi berdasarkan kategori. Kak Qori’ah mendampingi anak kategori III, Kak Lisna mendampingi anak-anak kategori II, Kak Heni mendampingi anak-anak kategori I, Kak Gaby mendampingi anak-anak kategori 0 demikian juga dengan Kak Vero mendampingi anak-anak kategori 0.

Pada hari Minggu, 21 Juli 2013, kegiatan ketrampilan membuat aksesoris dari batu-batuan dan manik-manik diberikan oleh Kak Linda dan Kak Widya di tempat pelatihan di daerah Tulodong, Jakarta Selatan. Kegiatan ketrampilan diberikan pada anak-anak kategori III dan beberapa anak putus sekolah serta didampingi fasilitator yang ikut terlibat dalam belajar. Kegiatan dihadiri oleh 10 peserta dan 2 pelatih, dimulai dari sekitar pukul 10 pagi hingga 2 siang. Kegiatan dibagi dalam 2 kelompok. Kelompok anak usia di atas 10 tahun didampingi oleh Kak Widya sedangkan kelompok anak usia di bawah 10 tahun didampingi oleh Kak Linda. Setiap anak wajib menghasilkan satu kreasi yang boleh menjadi milik mereka sendiri. Selesai membuat kreasi aksesoris, mereka berfoto mengenakan aksesoris buatan sendiri. Sebelum pulang, kami dibekali bahan-bahan dan peralatan untuk membuat aksesoris.

Kami sangat senang dan berterimakasih atas ketrampilan yang telah kami peroleh serta bahan-bahan ketrampilan yang diberikan oleh Kak Linda dan Kak Widya. Semoga kegiatan ini dapat terus memicu semangat anak untuk berkreasi dan membantu mereka memperoleh penghasilan untuk tabungan masa depan mereka. Semoga kerjasama yang telah dijalin dengan baik ini, dapat terus berlanjut.

Bantuan perlengkapan belajar dan ketrampilan kami peroleh dari Kak Ita dari Samenleven Organization dan Provincie Limburg, baik berupa meja dan kursi belajar anak, lemari tempat menyimpan perlengkapan belajar dan ketrampilan, karpet, laptop dan speaker untuk kegiatan menonton bersama, meja lipat, dan mesin jahit. Kami sangat senang dan berterimakasih. Semoga perlengkapan yang kami peroleh ini dapat meningkatkan kualitas belajar anak dan berguna bagi masa depan mereka.

b. Komunitas Muara Baru

Selama bulan ini, kegiatan belajar dilakukan pada hari Minggu II, dan IV.

Kegiatan belajar dilakukan selama bulan puasa. Jumlah anak berkurang karena kegiatan belajar dilakukan siang hari saat sebagian besar anak istirahat siang selama masa puasa. Kegiatan dilakukan di rumah Bu Herda karena aula tempat belajar dipersiapkan untuk kegiatan tarawih selama bulan puasa.

Kami belajar bersama kembali pada Selasa, 30 Juli 2013 sejak pagi hari hingga sore hari. Kegiatan belajar dilakukan tiga tahap. Pagi hari bagi anak-anak yang baru mulai mengenal huruf dan angka, siang hari bagi anak-anak yang sudah mulai mengenal huruf dan angka 0 – 20 serta penjumlahan, siang hingga sore hari anak-anak belajar berhitung dibimbing oleh Kak Indri, belajar perkalian melalui permainan ular tangga dibimbing oleh Kak Debby, demikian juga bermain scrabble dalam Bahasa Indonesia.

Sebelum anak-anak pulang, kami bagikan sedikit bingkisan, berupa pasta gigi, sikat gigi, dan wafer, bantuan dari keluarga Bu Ari dan Pak Edi. Anak-anak senang dan berterimakasih mendapatkan bingkisan yang bermanfaat ini.

Sekalipun melelahkan bagi kami yang mendampingi anak-anak sejak pagi hingga sore hari, semangat kebahagiaan tetap melekat di hati kami, melihat anak-anak belajar bersama dengan baik dan antusias. Kami berharap semangat dan niat belajar anak-anak dapat terus berkembang dengan baik.

Sejak kenaikan harga BBM bulan lalu yang memicu kenaikan harga sandang, pangan, dan papan, maka sedikit kenaikan biaya transportasi dan konsumsi dalam kegiatan pendampingan terpaksa kami lakukan untuk menjaga tetap terselenggaranya kegiatan belajar Komunitas Anak Belajar.

Akhirnya kami ucapkan terimakasih banyak atas kerjasama para fasilitator, volunteer, anak-anak, warga Cakung dan Muara Baru, baik pada Kak Lisa, Kak Vero, Kak Henni, Kak Qori’ah, Kak Gaby, Riska, Lisna, Indri, dan anak-anak pengurus program, serta Bu Herda di Muara Baru.

Perpustakaan

Kegiatan perpustakaan sepanjang bulan ini adalah registrasi dan memberi label dan menyampul buku-buku sumbangan. Beberapa buku ketrampilan untuk referensi kami belanjakan.

Sumbangan buku-buku pelajaran dan bacaan anak kami peroleh dari Bu Fitri Sudartini dan keluarga Bu Ari Wardani pada akhir Juli 2013. Buku-buku pelajaran layak pakai, kami tata di atas meja panjang untuk kebutuhan anak-anak. Buku-buku pelajaran bisa dipinjamkan atau diambil untuk kebutuhan mereka, demikian pula buku-buku bacaan anak yang kami sediakan, bisa diambil dan dipinjamkan.

Keterbatasan lemari membuat tim program perpustakaan mesti dengan cermat memilah-milah buku yang bisa diberikan atau dipinjamkan pada anak-anak.

Terimakasih banyak kami ucapkan pada Bu Fitri Sudartini dan keluarga Bu Ari Wardani yang berkenan datang membawakan langsung buku-buku pelajaran dan bacaan anak. Buku-buku bantuan ini akan kami gunakan sebaik-baiknya demi peningkatan kecerdasan dan kreatifitas anak. Semoga kerjasama yang telah dijalin ini dapat terus berlanjut dengan baik.

Kami ucapkan terimakasih banyak atas perhatian dan ketekunan koordinator dan tim program perpustakaan.

Kegiatan Peningkatan Gizi Anak

Selama Juli 2013 ini, kegiatan peningkatan gizi anak berlangsung dengan baik.

Selain minum susu rutin, menu sehat bulan ini adalah pecel sayuran, semangka, dan es kelapa muda.

Pada Sabtu I Juli 2013, kegiatan belajar dilakukan di luar ruangan dengan bantuan konsumsi siang dari Kak Arry Fitriana, KFC, maka menu sehat ditiadakan.

Pada Sabtu II Juli 2013, menu sehat yang telah disediakan adalah semangka, sedangkan pada Sabtu III Juli 2013, menu sehat adalah pecel sayuran.

Pada Sabtu IV Juli 2013, menu sehat ditiadakan karena hadirnya teman-teman dari PT Stahlarbeit yang datang berkunjung membawa bingkisan dan konsumsi untuk berbuka puasa.

Kami berterimakasih pada Kak Arry Fitriana, keluarga Bu Ari Wardani atas bantuan susu coklat, wafer, dan coklat untuk anak-anak, serta Bu Amelia dan karyawan PT Stahlarbeit.

Kami berterimakasih pada Kak Novita, Mrs. Reynacil Xavier dari Samenleven Organization dan Provincie Limburg atas bantuan kompor 4 tungku dan lemari es pada pertengahan Juli 2013. Kompor besar sudah mulai kami gunakan untuk memasak menu sehat, demikian pula lemari es digunakan untuk menyimpan bahan pangan baik yang belum diolah maupun yang sudah diolah.

Akhirnya, kami berterimakasih pada koordinator dan tim pengurus program yang telah mempersiapkan menu sehat dengan baik selama Juli 2013.

Beasiswa

Sejak akhir Juni 2013 hingga pertengahan Juli 2013, anak-anak SD penerima beasiswa libur tahun ajaran lama untuk memasuki tahun ajaran baru. Firman naik ke kelas II SD, demikian pula dengan teman-teman lainnya. Beberapa anak peserta kegiatan belajar mulai mendaftar SD di kampong halamannya masing-masing, beberapa mendaftar di SD negeri terdekat dengan rumah mereka di Cakung.

Demikian pula dengan Indri, penerima beasiswa untuk tingkat universitas. Libur kuliah selama seminggu pada awal Juli digunakan untuk persiapan mengikuti ujian akhir semester II. Setelah ujian akhir semester II selama seminggu lebih, mulailah libur kuliah bersamaan dengan libur lebaran.

Pada pertengahan Juli 2013, tahun ajaran baru dimulai, Firman dan teman-temannya mulai masuk kelas yang baru. Pembelian buku-buku tulis dan buku pelajaran serta alat tulis dilakukan, sementara biaya kebutuhan fotokopi, print tugas kuliah, dan transport kuliah untuk mengikuti tes TOEFL dikeluarkan pada awal Juli 2013. Salah satu computer mengalami masalah dengan software, akhirnya harus diperbaiki dan membuat Indri harus mengerjakan tugas kuliahnya di rental internet.

Dua anak putus sekolah mulai terlibat dalam kegiatan belajar sejak kami ajak untuk ikut pelatihan ketrampilan yang dibimbing oleh Kak Linda dan Kak Widya. Asih (17 tahun) dan Amel (13 tahun) mulai ikut bergabung dengan anak-anak kategori III. Rencana ke depannya, Asih memilih untuk mengikuti kursus menjahit dan Amel ingin mengikuti kursus memasak atau computer. Masih ada beberapa anak-anak laki-laki putus sekolah, namun agak sulit mengajak mereka untuk menimba ilmu dan mendapatkan keahlian melalui ketrampilan yang kami pelajari, karena anak-anak laki-laki sebagian besar lebih fokus untuk mendapatkan uang saat itu juga, baik dengan memulung atau mencabut kangkung dan bayam.

Perlahan-lahan kami berusaha mencoba membuka wawasan dan pengetahuan mereka agar mereka juga bisa berpikir ke depan untuk memperoleh bekal ilmu dan ketrampilan, demi masa depan mereka sendiri.

Terimakasih kami pada teman-teman yang berkenan rutin membantu penyelenggaraan program beasiswa ini. Kami berharap kerjasama ini dapat terus berlanjut dan menjadi bekal yang berguna bagi masa depan anak-anak.

Rencana kegiatan di bulan Agustus 2013 ini adalah :

1. Kegiatan Belajar
a. Libur kegiatan belajar pada minggu II – minggu III Agustus 2013 sehubungan dengan hari raya lebaran. Kegiatan belajar akan dimulai kembali pada Jumat, 23 Agustus 2013.
b. Kegiatan ketrampilan untuk peningkatan usaha ekonomi remaja Cakung difokuskan pada ketrampilan berbahan dasar manik-manik, kertas untuk kegiatan paper quilling, dan kain, benang serta perlengkapan menjahit untuk kegiatan menjahit bagi anak-anak kategori III dan para ibu.

2. Kegiatan Peningkatan Gizi Anak
a. Persiapan bahan-bahan menu sehat dan pembelian susu.

3. Perpustakaan
a. Perbaikan lemari perpustakaan dan pembelian sampul plastik serta penyediaan lemari buku tambahan.

4. Beasiswa
a. Pendaftaran kursus menjahit Singer untuk Asih dan Amel pada pertengahan Agustus 2013.

Progress Report of Children Learning Community on June 2013

Dear friends,

Happy Isra Mi’raj 1434 H for those who celebrate it.

On June 2013, the learning activities could run well, although on the 2nd Saturday of June 2013, to be exact, on June 8th, 2013, we didn’t hold the learning activity. It was because of the father of Firman passed away. Firman is one of the scholarship students, who stay at the learning house with his grandma.

Since two weeks ago, his father sick, and has taking care by his mother at the learning house. Firman’s father is one of the marginal children, whose living at the side of Cakung Cilincing highway near Philips company. Kak Debby facilitated the children from 1997 to 2002. A week after, Firman’s father hospitalized at Persahabatan Hospital using Jakarta Medical Card, which Jakarta government administration issued for the people who cannot afford their medical fee. On Saturday morning, June 8th, 2013, Dadi; Firman’s father passed away. Almost all facilitator were busy to handle everything at the hospital, the musholla, near his wife’s house, and the funeral. A facilitator has to bring Firman there, where his grandma waiting for him. Finally, the learning activity on that day was off.

We give condolence to Firman’s family and pray for Dadi in God’s mercy and for his rest in peace in God’s hand. We thanked for friends who give support during Dadi’s hospitalized, especially to Ms. Josepha Dua Donna, Ms. Tata, and Mas IBE Karyanto. Thank you very much to the big family of Firman’s grandma who also supported during Dadi’s hospitalized until the 7th day of his passing. May God bless your kindness and sincere to help others whom in need.

While the learning activity began, we declared Firman’s father passing to the children and apologized for postponing it. On that day, the children learned to express their symphaty by shaking Firman’s hand, giving condolence to him and his grandma. A day after, based on our deal, the children savings were for Firman, and after that, he give it to his grandma.

Alternative Learning Activities

a. Cakung Children Community

The schedule of sewing workshop during May 2013 was not being hold because of the difficulty adjusting right time for the participants and the facilitator, Mrs. July.

On early June 2013, to be exact, on Saturday morning, June 1st, 2013, some participants of sewing workshop followed the activity at the learning house. On that day, the participants learned to make flowers from flannel and rag. The workshop was from morning til the beginning of the learning activity for all categories approach.

We are grateful and thankful to Mrs. July for giving opportunity to the participants learning. We hope the collaboration will continue well.

On early June, to be exact, on Saturday, June 1st, 2013, we have a new facilitator, Ms. Gaby who would like to assist the children in learning Mathematics, especially for the children on the 2nd and the 3rd categories.

The children were glad for having a new facilitator. They were so entusiasthic learning Mathematics. For Ms. Gaby, it’s the first time for her to assist the children learning. Although it was clumsy at first, she could integrated within the children.

During this month, the life-skill activity every Wednesday, focuses on sewing. We learn from the books and also from the internet.

We hope the facilities that we own and the skill that has learned, enable us to develop through the economic generating program from the sewing creation.

b. The Muara Baru Community

The learning activities are held on the 1st, the 3rd , and the 5th Sunday on June 2013.

We learn in three groups, the first for the preschool who couldn’t read, write, and count fluently. Second, for the children who begin to know letters and learn to spell, and the last for the children who could read, write, and count. They are in the 4th grade of primary school and above. The first group with Ms. Indri, while the second group with Ms. Debby, and the last group wants to learn Bahasa Indonesia using scrabble. We give it a task, to write every words that they make and write in sentence. Every children made six words and completed in six sentences.

We are so glad to see the children enthusiasm and more children involved in learning activity. We hope it become the best saving to fulfill their future.

We thank all the collaborative works between the facilitators, the volunteers, the children, and the residents of Cakung and Muara Baru, especially to Mrs. Herda at Muara Baru, Ms. Lisa, Ms. Henni, Ms. Qori’ah, Ms. Gaby, Indri, Riska, Lisna, and the children coordinator program.

Bibliotheque

The activities of this month were labeling and covering the books donation which already registered. We purchased some life-skill books as reference. We registered them on the 3rd Wednesday on June 2013.

On Saturday, June 29th, 2013, we received some reading books, crayon, and colouring books from Jessica, Jason, dan Justin. The reading books will registered as the library collection, while crayon and colouring books will used for the children’s learning activity every Friday and Saturday.

We are grateful to Jessica, Jason, dan Justin for book supporting. We will use the donation carefully on behalf of the knowledge and skill development of the children creatifity. We hope the collaboration will continue well and become the worth provide for the children future.

The library administrative activities were on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday on June 2013.

We thank for the attention and the perseverance of the team.

Nutrition Improvement Program for Children

On June 2013, the program could run well.
Besides drinking milk, the healthy menu on this month were hard-boiled egg, spinach soup with corn, and banana.

On the 1st Saturday on June 2013, the usual menu was hard-boiled egg. The children used to eat in group organized by the children of the 3rd category to ease them in collect the eggshell. The children usually eat egg with salt or soysauce.

On the 2nd Saturday on June 2013, the healthy menu was spinach soup with corn, but we cancelled it and become the healthy menu on the 3rd Saturday on June 2013.

On the 4th Saturday on June 2013, banana became the healthy menu. Every kids have two to three small size banana, ‘cause the nearby market just provide one kind of banana, so we bought many to fulfill the children nutrition.

On the 5th Saturday on June 2013, the hard-boiled egg became the healthy menu again for all the children.

We thank the team who organised the healthy menu and cooked it during June 2013 and special thanks to the facilitators who lend a hand during preparation.

Children Scholarship

On this month, the scholarship expenditure in providing the elementary and university students learning materials, including copy, print the school task, TOEFL fee, and also accommodation.

On mid June 2013, the elementary student followed the national examination and have the school report at the end of June 2013. Firman, one of the scholarship student has promoted in school to the second grade of primary school. His marks are better than the marks on the 1st semester.

While the scholarship student in the university, still in the 2nd semester until the end of June 2013. On the 1st week of July 2013, it is a week of student preparation before the final 2nd semester examination.

Thank you so much to the facilitators and our friends who would like to support the program regularly. We hope the collaboration will continue well and become the worth provide for the children’s future.

July 2013 Activity Plans

1. Learning Activities

a. The annual out-door activity at Science and Technology Demonstration Centre, Indonesian Miniature Park on Saturday, July 6th, 2013 from 09.00 AM til 04.00 PM.
b. The economic generating activity for teenagers and mothers are still focusing on sewing for the children of the 3rd category and the mothers, also making salted egg, and marketing.

2. The Nutrition Improvement Program for Children

a. Preparing the healthy menu and providing milk.

3. Bibliotheque

a. Covering books and organizing the books on the shelves.

We are gladly welcoming our friends for donation and material support (such as subsistance) for the children out-door activity at Science and Technology Demonstration Centre, Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (Indonesian Miniature Park) on Saturday, July 6th, 2013.

As the beginning school year approach, we welcome our friends for the support of student books from primary until university, notebooks, and stationeries.
